      I also really like the Lo Scarabeo Modrone. Very nicely done. I like the bling and I appreciate the recreated cards which are convincing fakes. Did you enjoy seeing the coin? I enjoy reuniting history with itself.

    Great video and comparison. A lot of information. I really like the size of Marco's deck. If anything I might think to also get Il Meneghello, but I'm not sure I would spend a lot of time with the large cards. Cool to see how people deal with the missing cards.

      I agree, having a Visconti deck in a personal size means I'll use it. I'm very happy to have a petite Visconti. Thank you for watching. ~ Marilyn

    This was so interesting and I learned so much as I always do with your videos. Thank you for bringing some light into the confusion I had considering the Visconti. I never really understood why there are so many different decks out there with the name Visconti on it and how they relate to eachother. Later I found that some of the cards were missing from the original deck and therefore recreated so that explained the differences a little bit but not all card differences. I never knew that there actually were a view different decks created for these families, I always thought there was only one. Plus it was interesting to hear which cards existed and which cards weren't at that point (for example the female pope).

      The Pierpont Morgan deck definitely had a female Pope, that was the deck by Il Meneghello and Marco Benedetti on the right side. It was the Modrone that appeared to be missing the female Pope. The two cards that were missing across the board for all Visconti/Sforza decks appeared to have been the Devil and Tower cards. Thank you for watching! ~ Marilyn

    Marco included the Brambilla version too, wow!

    • @MarilynFromTarotClarity
      @MarilynFromTarotClarity  8 месяцев назад +1

      Ahh, I missed that. I believe the Brambilla only has 2 Triumph cards. (The reason I didn't bother comparing it here.) Thank you for pointing that out. It slipped past me! ~ Marilyn

    You did a wonderful job, Marilyn! Thank you. This is a deck I've looked at on and off for, oh, probably ten years or so, but I never pulled the trigger. Of the decks you showed today, I think my favorite would be the Lo Scarabeo Modrone deck (of course it is!). So this may end up being a "Marilyn made me do it" deck!
    Besides the Cary-Yale version you have, U. S. Games also has the Pierpont Morgon VS deck - that one is their "cleaned up" version and interestingly enough of the cards shown on their website, I noticed that the Fool card did not have a dog!
    ETA: I was going to leave a comment on the Gassman Tarot video. Am I hallucinating or have you taken that video down?

      Lol, 'Marilyn made me do it.' I have done a few Gassmann videos, and I would never have deleted it. It's in my playlist somewhere. It's probably in a Gassmann playlist maybe? I hope you can find it. Btw, I've done the Madenié/Burdel side-by-side you were interested in. I'll post it in a few days. ~ Marilyn

      @@MarilynFromTarotClarity (next a.m.) - I just saw that you had put up the Gassmann/Burdel comparison so I'm off to watch it.
      Also, on the Visconti Sforza decks, I watched Simon @ the Hermit's Cave do a side-by-side comparison of U. S. Games V.S. Pierpont Morgan (red box one), Il Meneghello V. S. and the Mary Packard Golden Tarot V. S. The U. S. Games Pierpont Morgan was almost identical to the Il Meneghello one. I thought that was interesting, and about a $50 savings for me! ;-)
