I’m sure you will enjoy yourself over in Scotland.
We are always happy to have visitors.
Now we are talking!!
Typhoon & Seaquest DSV (Origoinal please) as great show and far more likely 'future' tec than UFO
I've been hoping for more updates on the SQ!!!
I'm back at the planning stage on mine, now that I've gotten a couple life obstacles out of the way. I hope to see more updates soon so we can compare notes!
Next video drops tomorrow morning if things go well!
Hope Logan is having fun. I am sure you are looking forward to him coming home. It was hard for me to get used to my kids all being adults and on their own. You get used to having the help. Good luck with the subs and boats.
Come on you know 80's music is the best!!! 😂
Absolutely! I didn't know there was something other than Classic Rock!
You know what would be cool. Maybe difficult but cool if you could pull it off.
On Sea view change the nozzle for the thruster so it is the and with the 4 thrusters that moves. That way you keep the look of the boat with the 4 thrusters but the whole thing gimbals to steer and dive the boat.
Happy days .
Bob,
Just a question regarding Seaquest
The propulsion idea you spoke about a gimbal for controlling direction
Instead of having a Gimble/kort nozzle
Would an X tail configuration inside the 2 inch hole work?
And just an off the wall idea could the massive squid type fins be used as X tail
Bob, with regards to the customer that’s not your fault that they are lazy.
You are very much appreciated by others for your work and products.
It's a small boat, all said. Could definitely have gone with individual control over each fin (no way to link them in pairs), or used the existing (tiny) jets, but it would have been complicated and prone to failure. The vectored thrust should be simple and effective. Function over form!
I did business once with a guy in NY and all I will say is never again. EBay is the same way when it comes to refunds.
Have you builded a skydive sub
No, I've not had the opportunity.
Ultrasonic knives will cut styrene, but the cut is nowhere near as clean as what you get when cutting resin. On styrene the ultrasonic knife cuts more like a hot knife/soldering iron with a knife blade leaving noticeable bulge of melted sytrene.
Hi Nice videos Have you tested water-switches? Regards Norway c",)
I'm not sure I know what you are referring to when you say "water switch".
@@RCSubGuy Hi, Connect a small led to a battery and cut one of the wireing and put the ends in a glas of water then you see what I ment Used in children's toys c",)
@fpvoslo Ah. Understood. Yes I've seen them used. They could be implemented in these larger subs with some creative use of a secondary relay. I prefer to bench test the boat prior to it entering the water
@@RCSubGuy I was thinking about it when You talked light-system on the small SeaQuest Could be great on that-one :)
any stl files for the SeaQuest?
None I'm willing to part with. Sorry.
To be honest it wasn’t your fault that the item was lost it was the customers fault… his laziness caused the problem.
He's the kind of customer you recommend to do business with your biggest competitor lol
Definitely not your fault at all . Why wouldn’t you drive 10 mins to pick up something you should be excited to receive. I drive over 30 mins to go to a hardware shop for supplies but I enjoy doing that .
