What this tells us: They've signed Leny Yoro. Amazing how many fans and content creators had no idea who this kid was 6 weeks ago and now all releasing videos proclaiming how amazing he is. It's honestly embarrassing The reality is they've spend a lot of money on an 18 year old kid with 1 season under his belt in a position that usually takes until the player is in their early 20s to really show who they are. It's a huge risk, will see if it pays off.
This is a brilliant analysis of the thorough and comprehensive restructuring of the club and new. structured transfer strategy of Ashworth and Berrada. Fair play Rory.
I'm loving this video format, feels fresh and I appreciate you covering united in a fair way, I feel people are giving us stick for this deal bc of the price, but I feel they are more worried united are actually getting deals done at a good pace and there are clear targets, hell united are not going into stupid deals, we basically went to Lille and said we agreed with their evaluation of the player, had yoro said no or Lille wanted Branthwaite money, we would've moved on
You are so selfless and genuine in all your analysis…I am a united fan who respect your views because of your honesty. Only channel to say something positive about the YORO signing.
It's still a bigger fee than what I'd like for us to be shelling out on a player but there's no doubt he's a talented young player that's already established himself at 18. The fact Madrid were interested in him but unable to sign due to their spending elsewhere makes him a fairly safe bet. Provided he continues to improve over the coming years his value is only going to increase. Therefore, even if Madrid to come calling in 4-5 years they're going to have to pay big for him so it's a win win. Also there's no doubt that Ineos and the new board are a professional outfit and the transfer strategy has obviously changed for the better at Utd. Getting business done quickly and efficiently as well as signing top targets for the manager and the profile of player changing from big names that have peaked to up and coming talents is what was needed.
I am glad the board has been re-selected new management board. I've always said its the board. Now new management is doing the right work. This should have been done long time ago.
Good view points. Its first time in ages utd has manage to attract a young talent that Madrid have been looking at. But they tried, when other team didn't and they though there wasn't a chance at all. I think getting a lot of game time is the main factor for a young player to grow and flourish.
I was so excited by that Di Maria signing, he even scored one of my favourite United goals ever, the little chip in that wild Leicester game but he never wanted to be here
Rival fans don't understand the relief of seeing a signing that makes sense. He won't single handedly win us a league but he is young, huge potential and hopefully signals the type of transfer we can expect going forward. We'll need 2/3 windows before we can compete but just happy to see football people making the decisions.
As a Liverpool fan I’m devastated over Yoro gong to united as we wanted him but fought he was going to Madrid. But we’ll done to united getting that deal done that’s great work
appreciate the honesty. There are too many fans out there trying to cope. sick of madrids' attitude trying to force and poach and bully every team... man utd said "f*** em"
The pressure will be on but really for me its been relieved. United are younger and buying for a new style of play meaning there will be more development on the field required in order to see the fruits of the labor that started THIS window. Reset. Rebuild. Time for United fans to show the spine that INEOS showed by keeping ten Hag.
After the last ten years I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but it's difficult not to! Hopefully this is the start of a new era. Club has been so so badly managed for such a long time, and it will take a few windows to rebuild properly, BUT.. This is a good start.

As a United fan its super refreshing to see such a big passionate opposition fan give this high praise in such an egaging unbiased way. Well done
Not the most flattering thumbnail
The signing of Donny was a great player. He was also being sought after by Real Madrid. Lack of game time and injury’s ruined his opportunities.
Paying over the odds for a French League youngster with one year left on his contract? It tells us what we already knew - same old United.
Well that's one way to out yourself as absolutely clueless
What should they have done ? Waited for his contract to run out so he signed for Madrid for free ?
I think they had to pay more due to madrid probably putting a high offer in
@@georgethompson4498 ...said the Man. United fans to the INEOS board.
@@kyriacandro Maybe negotiate, or buy another player from elsewhere for less money??
As a United fan, i have to admit Rory this video has been well put together 👌🏽
We spent 42m quid with adds ons....
Unreal business
Wasn't it 52M or it was euros?
@@Bsk67740 that's with the add ons included
It was in Euros@@Bsk67740
With 1 year left on his contract 😂
@@InstigationMex95and now he's at united on a 6 year contract. Who's city signed so far mate?
Refreshing to see unbiased reporting and conversation from an opposition fan.
Thank you, it's great to get sensible opinions from a different POV.
I was happy that we made a bid at all. Varane and Ronaldinho rejected us when they were teenagers, just as Ronaldo and Rooney chose us.
Buying these players is never a bad decision
We bought Ronaldo after Ronaldinho went to Barcelona, he wasn’t a teenager.
An absolutely fabulous vid mate, ta, I really enjoyed it
Amazing how many fans and content creators had no idea who this kid was 6 weeks ago and now all releasing videos proclaiming how amazing he is. It's honestly embarrassing
The reality is they've spend a lot of money on an 18 year old kid with 1 season under his belt in a position that usually takes until the player is in their early 20s to really show who they are.
It's a huge risk, will see if it pays off.
Cry

Haters will always hate and wish bad luck, but if u are a small demi god we will know, grow up a pair of 🎱🎱 and chill 😎
Jealous mate are ya unite been waiting years to get the last laugh again football goes in circles and it's back round to United and arsenal
Everyone with a bit of football knowledge knew he was. You're just salty
Loving the new format of these videos mate!
Rory we need more 1hr live streams about these things
Nice one mate 👍🏻
love how whenever united sign a player, sky overprice the fee and don't mention the fact add ons are included 🤣 melts
short detailed and straight to the point commentary, really good work.
After a single season in the French league I hope he does well. Leroy has a lot to prove for that fee.
Single season? He broke through into the first team at 16, this season was his first as a starter.
Made his debut 3 seasons ago, played half the games last season. Played as a starter this season. It’s not a single season
Love the new music. High energy!!
You’ve never watched a minute of him 🤣🤣
Hes not a scout, however real madrids scouts have described him as the mbappe of cbs
@@jacklynch7802 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@edenjorginho8604😂😂😂😂
If Real Madrid wanted him then that says enough
Before you laugh and chat shi, have you ever watched him? Nope😂😂 @edenjorginho8604
Great Video Rory 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
"No views" and the bots have taken over already lol
Marseille have agreed a deal to sign Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojberg on an loan with an obligation to buy.
Thank you Rory. Great analysis. Love the video. As a United fan!
Instead of the hate we keep getting from ops whenever we sign anyone.
Rory as a united fan, thank you for being honest and an unbiased video as compare to others
You have quite an intense but thorogh and thoughtful viewpoint on topics always enjoy listening to you
This is a brilliant analysis of the thorough and comprehensive restructuring of the club and new. structured transfer strategy of Ashworth and Berrada. Fair play Rory.
I'm loving this video format, feels fresh and I appreciate you covering united in a fair way, I feel people are giving us stick for this deal bc of the price, but I feel they are more worried united are actually getting deals done at a good pace and there are clear targets, hell united are not going into stupid deals, we basically went to Lille and said we agreed with their evaluation of the player, had yoro said no or Lille wanted Branthwaite money, we would've moved on
I think this video was supremely put together.
love how you did the pricing to euros so it looked more expensive.
That articulate mouth piece is impeccable but later yea from the USA , peace and the vid was legend G !
You are so selfless and genuine in all your analysis…I am a united fan who respect your views because of your honesty. Only channel to say something positive about the YORO signing.
That's the best video I have seen you do Rory. Content aside, your cadence and reference shots are on point
Love your take on this Rory.
Getting business done quickly and efficiently as well as signing top targets for the manager and the profile of player changing from big names that have peaked to up and coming talents is what was needed.
masterpiece Rory, keep it coming.
love your content bro, united fan here
62 million euros on an 18 year old no one knew anything about going into the summer. He’s on his last year of his contract. 🤣🤣🤣
Nobody knew anything about him? So Liverpool, and real madrid are nobody's?😂
everyone knew who he was, he is the best under 21 centre back in the world mate
Kevin De Bruyne has agreed personal terms to join Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad
Love the editing
Genuinely one of the nicest videos I’ve ever listened/watched
Hats off to you Rory , respect from the reds 🎸
This is very interesting take, and I support this, the overhaul change of staff is definitely a huge one.
I love your impartiality Rory - keep it up mate
I am glad the board has been re-selected new management board. I've always said its the board. Now new management is doing the right work. This should have been done long time ago.
Good view points. Its first time in ages utd has manage to attract a young talent that Madrid have been looking at. But they tried, when other team didn't and they though there wasn't a chance at all. I think getting a lot of game time is the main factor for a young player to grow and flourish.
I was so excited by that Di Maria signing, he even scored one of my favourite United goals ever, the little chip in that wild Leicester game but he never wanted to be here
Yoro is also very marketable, he is a family guy with younger siblings,is likeable and can easily connect with casuals and cross over.
Great video ✊
Love this channel Rory! Keep up 😝
Rival fans don't understand the relief of seeing a signing that makes sense. He won't single handedly win us a league but he is young, huge potential and hopefully signals the type of transfer we can expect going forward. We'll need 2/3 windows before we can compete but just happy to see football people making the decisions.
Am a United Fan From Kenya but I enjoy your content....Top Top Stuff
As United fan watching this summer window feels good, i hope the season will be good as wel and i hope Chelsea wil do good to ❤
Great analysis thanks.
Probably the only youtuber not biased against United.
Great video, love the style of it
mate tchouameni went to madrid for 120m, endrick for about 70-80, camavinga went for 50, they paid mbappe 150m signing bonus lol
I started liking ya videos after your videos with Mark Goldbridge. I see you a United fan !
