  • A quick recording "on the Fly" of The Genos with the Electro-Harmonix Lester K rotary speaker simulation unit , I have the unit modified to control the fast/slow speed, and the outputs are the Sub 1/2 to the Lester and the output from the Lester to the Aux in of the Genos .

    Hi !
Great sound , can you tell / show me how you set the configuration . I tried this with neo vent, but i cant find how to set the vent to work with the organ tones. It`s sub 1234, do you use 3/4.
    Best regards Tom

Tom , i use the 1&2 Line out to the rotary unit and the output from the rotary unit ( same on ventilator) to the Aux in of the genos , in menu you go to the "Line out" page and you put a V on the richt channel you choose on Sub 1 and Sub 2 , and if you wil use left side with the drawbars you do the same on the line of the Left line out. On the sound page you select the drawbars for the desired side ( right 1/2/3 or left) , dont forget to make a insertion effect for the Reverb in the Mixer page ( normal Reverb dont work on Sub outputs !?) , after al this dont forget to save it all in a registration , and all "memory " options ( Line out !) , and save also a special drawbar sound with the insert Reverb effect in the User voice bank . I hope this help you . best Regards , Arno

Ah nice! You know, I would really love to find a way to make a half moon Leslie switch work with it.

I think that this is not so difficult to make , but i prefer a footswitch , keep my hand on the keys . :-)

I'm a life-long Hammond player. My parents started me on my first private lesson when I was five. That left hand switch is like a piece of the instrument I really miss!

Soryt is there any possible way you could make a video showing how you modified it? If I can get a switch to toggle the speeds then I’ll be in HEAVEN!
