Congrats you had an amazing reading year. I didn't read as much as I was hoping but I did read some good books. Boy's Life, 11/22/63 and Fourth Wing were some of my favorite reads of 2024.
@@glendyc22 Hey that’s ok! Those are some heavy hitters! Dont tell anyone but I just finished fourth wing and wow. Incredible. I’d love to read boys life and 11/22:63 but they are pretty chunky
Look at you go! I don't think I could do that many books in a year. Sometimes a really good book can end up on the least shelved list; one of my top reads ended up on it this year. Thank you again for mentioning Long Buried, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Happy New Year!
I had a pretty good reading year as well, I actually broke my previous record and I read a total of 190 books this year 😅 A lot of them are short middle grade and YA books though, of course. I also read my longest book ever this year at 1,200 pages (Count of Monte Cristo) A 4.2 average rating is crazy! At least, for me it would be! Lol. I have no idea what mine is but i might have to add them up and find out out of curiosity. I tend to be a bit more reserved with my ratings, though - I think I only gave out like 2 or 3 Five star ratings this year and a handful of 4 star ratings. Edit: I just checked to see my average rating, and it's 2.75⭐, lol.
I didn't know J.K. Rowling wrote a new book last year. I always love the harry potter book series and movies. I will have to check out her new one this year. Maybe around xmas time for fun. I will add it to my list.
@@kirazinn Yep! It kind of flew under the radar… but it is definitely worth your time! It’s no Harry Potter but it’s still a whimsical fun story that is well written of course.
Well I never keep track of the number of books I read but it felt like a lot haha. So I guess my goal for 2025 is to actually keep track of what I read, probably like in a journal. My main goal is to read at least one paperback from hell each month. Also, I just completed my Fear Street collection of the original books! So my book collecting goal is to start collecting the sagas series
@@amanda_c. Wow congrats on getting all the fear street books!! Sagas are difficult but not as bad as seniors… I personally love Goodreads but a journal is always good too!
@@AlyssaNicholson101 Set some goals for yourself!! And track your reading if you don’t already! I personally love Goodreads as well as Instagram. Watching booktube videos also keeps me inspired and motivated!
