Wow, how lucky is that lol being relocated to Castaway Bay and getting a bonus visit to the water park too. Looks very clean and well maintained in there, love the pirate theming and the flamingos. Breakers is gorgeous, but they are very quick to close it. We got slightly kicked out in late summer 2020. and found something a bit along the lake.

Nicer than I thought this would be . You ever think about visiting Schlitterbahn in Texas???? They invented the master blaster and have one of the most unique Waterparks in the world ! The original side of Schlitterbahn is so bizarre compared to other Waterparks but tons of fun . I know you're not into Waterparks that much nor am I but this one is worth the trip . Have a great rest of your trip . Fun town usa is another great family park in NY worth checking out. 👍

Next time you go to Cedar Point you have to go to Kalahari!! It alone is worth at least a full day the indoor waterpark is massive and you would love it!

You're not missing much with those other slides honestly. Still would have been nice for you to ride them. But its really nice to see Castaway Bay getting some love. Compared to the other Indoor Water Parks in Sandusky (which we are only down to three now, but at one time we were up at 5.), Castaway Bay gets overlooked quite a lot. Which is a shame because it has a really fun vibe. You are exactly correct about the cleanliness of it. That's something you don't get at Kalahari down the road (even though Kalahari is three times the size). Castaway Bay just gets slammed all the time for being too small. But I feel that's exactly what makes it special. Plus, it shows that Cedar Point could do theming back in the mid-2000's.
It’s a great waterpark and very nice and clean! We had a great time at this hotel resort!
How nice to have a free upgrade to the waterpark hotel. What a shame that Charlotte didn't bring her swimming costume, she wasn't to know anyways

The official website is the best with annual passes also working out good value if you plan on visiting multiple days!

It’s not open every weekday as it’s not school Holidays at the moment in Sandusky

In southeast Indiana it has been raining. Glad you and Charlotte have had a good time in the states. You definitely came the right time due to top fuel closing. At least you got your rides in.
I think hard floor is better than carpet, easier to clean, 1000s of people been on the carpets.

I have a condo that is a walking distance to Castaway Bay
$80 for a swimwear. Not surprised you passed on that. £20-30 in the uk.

We always stay away from politics as we enjoy the theme parks and what we do. We enjoy their food that’s on offer and don’t think any more of it!
