You should have get the arcade operator and tell then you are going for the 28 or 33 tries due to different type of claw machine payout they will just automatically give you the price. For the price of you getting the lapras you might be able to get 2 of them using that method.

Go to westgate timezone it was fun there as it is also new. There is dragon punch and their jackpot is also quite fun and challenging but once u win jackpot u get a prize instead of tickets.. Go try out! :)

Went there a few times but there was once recently where the guy working there shouted at me because I asked him to refill/stick the tickets into the machine for the third time
But overall it's a really fun place

I hate this type of claw machine lolololol...
My friends and I pooled a total of about S$60+ (at least 60 tries, at least ¥6000) and tried it in Japan Arcade for a Snoopy tote bag (IKR... like why do we want a snoopy tote bag when we could get a giant plushie hamster?).
But apparently the trick is to hit the item from the side closer to the bag and after a few tries it should be diagonal enough, then try using the claw to depress the item down into the gap between the bars.
At least I think it isn't as bad as ours... we flipped the tote bag back to original position twice, after working so hard to get it diagonal
During the days CPCM claw machine are so scam, but now I think they more lenient already..

That machine was definitely rigged he had spikes which made it even more difficult to win. Theres no way I would have kept playing after you had it in the hole the first time and it wouldn't move. I would have said something to the employees about it.
