We have the new YSL blushes in Canada already and I have #44 and #93 which are the two shimmer formula shades and LOVE them!! Not too shimmery but BEAUTIFUL! Highly recommend when they are released in the USA 👌🏼
I refuse to go back to matte liquid lipstick. They all look awful on me. I saw someone with silver mascara. I was intrigued. I am a blush hussy. The YSL looks like I will need it! Clinique was my first makeup, too. So nostalgic. Your hair looks beautiful. Happy New Year ❌️ ⭕️

Thanks, I got bored with my curls. I wasn't terribly careful with the blow out process, so it has more volume that I'd like, but it's fun to have brushable hair for once. I dare not brush it when it's curly. If I do, I look like I have a lion's mane.
The Glossier product is actually Black Cherry, and there is a balm, cloud paint, lip liner, and a pencil (not sure if that’s like the MUFE liner you can use everywhere, or what. Just FYI. Happy New Year!!🎊
I just saw the announcement when I woke up this morning. (they were still teasing it when I filmed this video) I might have to pick up the new shade since it's not the straight up red that it used to be. I love that they're finally branching out with the lip liner colors, and aren't keeping them to skin native shades. I think the pencil is their No. 1 pencil for eyes. I am also nostalgic for both Clinique and blue mascara! The 80s were certainly a fun time for makeup! When I first started wearing makeup in the late 70s (I’m a tad older than you), my mother took me to Clinique for skincare and complexion products. She wanted to ensure the stuff directly on my skin was good quality. The rest was drugstore makeup, mostly Maybelline and Cover Girl. Oh, and L’Oréal mascara, including blue. Also - in reading the comments I see your surgery is about a week away. Praying all goes well with your shunt revision!

I remember all the bright and colorful stuff I was too young to wear, but when I finally did, I had so much fun! I started wearing makeup at 14 in 1989. I'm mostly a 90s makeup person, but I was so aware of makeup trends in the 80s. I just to pour over my mom's magazines. I would cut out ads of colorful eyeshadow or lipstick and tape them to the back of my bedroom door. I started with Clinique, but have come so far since then. I still love makeup so much.

I had such fun in college with makeup. My first employee ID (1987) is a riot of 80s makeup and hair - big permed hair and various shades of green eyeshadow. 🤣🤣🤣
I use liquid lipsticks and lip crayons as a base for my lipstick to last longer and wear off more gracefully. I don’t wear liquid lipstick alone like most people.
I bought the Natasha Denona Mini Eye Sculpt pallet which is 5 mattes, light to dark. I like her formulas and I travel often so it makes sense to toss in with a couple shimmery 1 and dones for more possibilities. I had a small UD matte palette that was looking pretty worse for wear so this is the substitute!

I totally understand that. I feel overwhelmed by the makeup I already have sometimes, and occasionally feel like I need to do a no buy (or at least a low buy.) It's hard to have a channel like this without getting new things. I'm so glad that you're enjoying Audrey. It's such a beautiful color, and I was surprised at how much I liked it. I initially thought that it would be one of the shades I used the least, but it's one of the ones I reach for the most. It brightens up my face and I LOVE it. I’m excited to try the Dior bronzer depending on the shades, the ysl blushes in the matte at satin shades, maybe the Clinique highlighter, i can’t go anywhere near the facebond formula unfortunately because of the niacinamide with the alcohol… at least based on the foundation, my skin likes some niacinamide but in my moisturizer
I didn't know that the UD Facebond formula had niacinamide in it. I've never had any adverse reaction to it, but your comment has me worried. Perhaps it's the addition of the alcohol. I'm so excited about the Dior, YSL and Clinique products. I have so much already, but . . . that's what I'm here for. Happy New Year.

I didn't have good luck with the teddy tints. I loved the shade I got, and I love the look, but my lips were forever sticking each other.
Sephora lip kit looks tempting as does the ELF Halo compact...I love the loose powder one. I'm not reaching for bronzer or highligher anymore but can never pass up a new lipstick! Love Merit lipsticks. I recently did a major declutter but still have too much blush but they are favorites. Thanks so much for all your hard work on videos...look forward to watching in 2025. I received those covergirl liquid lipsticks free for review - for me, they’re a ‘no.’ I think it actually meets all the claims, BUT I still got shriveled prune lips. And I’m still in my 30s. Great colors and it was comfortable and thin and all that. But no. I hope that helps!!
Don't bother with the elf brow pen, it's super mediocre. It's not a particularly tiny tip and it doesn't deposit pigment easily. I tried it next to my Maybelline one and it is not as good.
