Thank you for making this video. I thought it was so sweet to mention your subsciberes as a favorite. ❤ My december favorites were my new viseart eyeshadows ( I am in love with that palette you also mentioned in this video) ( but I also got 2 petit four quads and the original cashmirie palette) I love these. I am so glad I finally ordered these ( even I payed way to much to get them here) ( we have also Europeanen retailers that stock viseart but the problem is that the new releases always come late, and the most populair ones are always sold out really quickly) ( but I have learned my lesson, I will wait until they stock here and buy them at European retailers) And the new hourglass face palette in dragon came also late at my doorstep but I think I like it even more than last years gellyfish. I am thinking to pick up more schades from the LE lipsticks. ( Romy, maby Simone) ( I have picked the darker shades like medici, and 183 and I like them but they are not everyday schades for me.) And the Victoria Beckham beauty eyeliner in Smoky quartz ( I picked up recently) And I am in love with this shade. I think it is my favorite shade from these liners that I have.
What great picks! I've been loving the new VBB liner I picked up. The formula is so good, and it's so creamy. I love the LE Rouge Experience, and my every day shades are Romy, Simone and Audrey. (for a pop of color that isn't a red) I'm sorry you paid so much for the Viseart, but I'm glad that you're enjoying everything you picked up. I really love the formulas and the color stories. I'm delighted every time I pick up another new palette. Thanks so much for watching today, and you're part of my favorites every month. I love getting to know people in the comment section.
What a great list hope you guys had a wonderful holiday😀 December is always a big month of faves for me in both makeup/skincare and life favorites so let’s take this by category 😆😂😊: Makeup/skincare - I tried and loved the Elemis enzyme face wash this month and bought a full bottle & I bought the new haus labs mascara and received it on the 31st 😂- I really really liked it - it’s a natural bristle brush which I’ve said before I prefer the tip is very tapered si u can get in the inner corner and not get mascara everywhere and the formula is dry enough that it’s not messy and doesn't go every to easily so the test will be if it’s not so dry that it dries out to fast like my other favorite the benefit fanfest - but it doesn’t as dry initially, next was the LE rouge exp lipstick in the shade ashes of roses Armani luminous silk foundation - I like the shade match a lot which is hard for me with foundation due to undertone and I really like it as an everyday foundation, last was the haus labs loose powder and again I really liked it so I do think it will stick in my collection as a loose powder option in addition to my Kosas cloud set pressed powder when I want the look of loose powder as opposed to the coverage and extra smoothing of my Kosas pressed … i usually hate using loose powder in general but the net in this makes it better Lifestyle- my favorite Christmas movies in December are Fred Clause, The Nutcracker and the four realms, how the grinch stole Christmas ( Jim Carey ) a Christmas Carol ( Jim Carey ), Christmas Eve dinner with my in-laws when they make home made spaghetti and sauce all from scratch it’s so good I look forward to it every year, then brunch Christmas Day at my moms and her sausage egg and cheese breakfast casserole with fresh fruit and cinnamon rolls and mulled wine or mulled cider
I'm looking for a new face wash, and might try the Elemis. I'm curious about the Haus Labs mascara, but I need to use what I have at the moment. I'm up to my eyeballs in unopened mascara. I love the LE lipsticks! Can you believe I still haven't tried the Luminous Silk Foundation? Crazy, right? I love the Nutcracker and the 4 realms and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. I haven't seen a Christmas Carol in years, but I love the musical version from the 70s. Christmas breakfast sound delicious at your place. Yum! Thanks so much for all your support and involvement this year. I love your comments.
I'm so glad that you like the products from What's Up. I've been loving the cheek products and all the brushes. That Viseart palette is stunning. Thanks for watching.
I absolutely love the WUB brushes. I am in a balm state of mind myself. I have been using my Motherships from Pat McGrath so much lately. I also picked up a few Natasha Denona mini palettes. There were 3 I didn't have. Super cute sweater. I finally got Netflix. It may be a favorite this month. I have never had it. I used to borrow it a few years ago 👀. I am loving burning candles and chilling at home. We lost my nephew right before Christmas in a hit and run. The killer hasn't been caught. I honestly grabbed for so many products that were just easy and reliable. Have a wonderful weekend ❌️⭕️
Lisa, I'm so sorry to hear about your nephew. That's terrible news. Please know that I'll be praying for his entire family, and that the driver of the vehicle will be apprehended soon. I really like the WUB brushes. They're some of my favorite ones in my collection. I need to pull out my PMG mothership palettes again. I've been craving some serious sparkle. Netflix is such a favorite in my house. We've had it for years, and still find stuff to love on there. Thanks so much for all your support this past year, and I hope that things get resolved for your nephew's accident sooner than later.
I’m continue to be struck by how beautiful you are with or without makeup. And I absolutely love this look you’ve done for this video. Thanks for sharing December favorites. I just started using RMS last month, but I’ve not yet tried the powder. Thanks for the recommendations. 💚
Thanks so much for your kind compliment. : ) I love a monthly favorites video, and I couldn't pass up on doing one for December. I really like the RMS powder. It's my most reach for this year after the Givenchy. (I still have an older formulation of the original in my collection)
Thanks for having such a lovely RUclips channel. 2024 Favorite is my SG Unveiled palette. I have gotten all kinds of use out of that! The Quince cashmere boatneck is very light and perfect for our Florida winter, I got my mom one for Christmas and she loves it. Happy New Year!
Thanks so much for making time to watch. I really appreciate it. I didn't pick up the SG Unveiled palette, but I might this year during the summer sale. I LOVE Quince cashmere. I have the batwing sweater and I wear it all the time along with the oversized crew and the oversized fisherman sweater. I also have 3 cashmere cardis from Quince. I'm in LOVE! I'm so glad you and your mom like it for the Florida winters.
@@docm5314 thanks so much. Lily looks adorable in the sweater. The one I'm making for Ava is very pretty too. I appreciate the well wishes for the new year. ❤️
I’m in my early 60s and have been wearing tubing mascara for half that time. It’s been that long since I’ve done nothing but wash my face and my eyelids look great for my age. I credit the tubing mascara. That’s the only thing I did differently from everyone else.
@@BonJourBonJour123 ooh, good to know. What mascara were you using 20+ years ago? I didn't start hearing about tubing formulas until about 18 years ago.
@ I’d get Blink at a very good beauty supply store. Then Sephora carried Fiberwig for a while but they didn’t understand it so they stopped carrying it. You can’t sell something you don’t understand. It’s a Japanese product and I get it on Amazon instead. Now I’m exploring different brands. It’s almost like they hide that they’re tubing. Again it’s like a they don’t totally understand it. I was also an early adopter of wearing daily sunscreen. My mom had 2 face lifts. I took care of her after each one. 😬 I’ve been doing everything I can to fight aging through prevention.

I am trialing Thrive's Pout Hero Peppermint Liquid Balm Lip Treatment. (Wow! Say that three times fast.) It's clear and smells minty during application, but the scent rapidly dissipates and there is no flavour, tingling, etc. I like it so far. I need a good lip balm to apply as needed while I'm watching videos and old movies and knitting a pair of socks. I wear tinted lip balms or Merit lipsticks if I'm leaving the house. I may be the only person on the continent who didn't like the Ole Henriksen Pout Preserve Peptide Lip Treatment!
@@hillshounds you're not the only person who didn't like the Ole Henriksen pout preserve. I haven't tried the Thrive lip treatment. I've been thinking of placing a Thrive order again soon to pick up the kackie gloss, a mascara and now, maybe the lip balm. 🤷♀️ One of these days I'm going to learn how to knit, but until then, I'm very happy crocheting. I just love making things. Thanks so much for watching today, and happy knitting.
@@thelipstickgal After about a week's use, here's my review on the Thrive liquid lip balm: nice for a couple of hours, but lousy as an overnight balm. It soaks in or otherwise disappears, leaving dry, peely lips in the morning. I like that it stays put and isn't sticky.
You are inspiring me to check out What’s Up Beauty. Their products look beautiful. I also bought a couple of things from Quince. Question - esp since you crochet (I’m learning how to knit!) - how to you clean your cashmere? Send it to the dry cleaners? Thank you!
I use a wool wash that I get on Amazon and hand wash all my cashmere. If it's really dirty. (food stains, ect) I'll send it to the dry cleaners, but with so much cashmere it's less expensive to do it at home. I soak it in cool water with wool wash, carefully squeeze it out, lay it flat on a towel, and then roll the towel up to remove excess water and then reshape the sweater when drying flat. I'll do lots at the same time, and I love the scent of the wool wash I have. I use it for all my wool and cashmere sweaters. I rarely end up at the cleaners anymore.

It made me go check to see if I could find when the latest formula cherry lipstick is coming (the one that didn't launch with the others) because I REALLY want it. I want it so badly I almost bought the new Glossier black cherry stuff, but I'm holding off on that, too. Do you know when the LE cherry lipstick is coming? Oh, and I got some Merino wool and cashmere sweaters for Christmas that are monthly favorites for me, and I have to say real natural fiber Merino wool and cashmere in general are my thing right now.
@@Christine-uf3oj sadly I haven't heard when the new bohemian cherry lipstick will be available. I hope it's with this launch. I'm excited to pick up the pin point concealing pencil. I use the Jones Road face pencil every day. It works beautifully to conceal and correct as long as I maintain proper skin prep, such as exfoliation. I am shade 6 and 7, depending on time of year. Can you tell me what shade you use, for reference? I’m pretty sure you are shades lighter than me.
I use shade 1. There are times that it's too dark for me in winter, but that's ok. I'm not using tons of it. I really like the consistency, and love the way that it give a subtle correction without looking like heavy makeup.
