I have one and every time I have travel to cold climate countries like Sweden, Luxembourg I always wear it and have not had problems at all. Mine like yours, does not have any external markings. I just say it is a ski cap. No one has ever said anything about Nazis or related. Any way liked your video. By the way... have used it under light rain and protects you well. No problems with it at all. It dries fast and didn't deform. Have also used it on summer and is not that hot and behaves well with sweat too. I will say wear it! It is just a ski cap! Rob.
I have a genuine real Luftwaffe M43 I got in the 1970s from a WW2 collectors magazine. It has a satin lining, Luftwaffe eagle, and red white and black circle emblem. Your cap is a fine replica. As long as you don't have Nazi emblems on your cap, I don't think people would notice now days. People in some European countries still wear those kinds of caps.
I live in Germany and owned one of those cap from e r e l and when it is cold I wear it outside and no one cares those hats are still used in Germany by the mountain troops

Brush it with a Brush and when that doesnt work wash it with water by hand
