I had a volksmarine jacket, and there was a small slit cut into the collar' stitching at the laupel, and the tresse was tucked into there. I'm not sure how much the hook would get in the way for a feldbluse, but it is a technique that one can use as well, at least for an open collared tunic.

It will also give you some insight into the vast amount of items that can be collected. Start collecting something that appeals to you, something that you like or find interesting, like medals or helmets. And of course, something that fits your budget. After you get all of you’re external gear than focus on the jacket and pants and boots, by that point you should be closer to you’re adult height. Also what I recommend is you start as a basic infantryman in the future you might want to actually re-enactment and you won’t be able to remove the nco insignia from you’re uniform. I was just promoted and I’ve been re-enacting/ airsofting for 2 years. I’m glad that you have an interest in history at such a young age. This may seem like a stupud question but what kind of material were the tunic and trousers made from? Because I dislike modern suit material and i'd like a vintage style suit.
