This game is so perfect for Ina! Her understanding things quickly AND getting lost within a few minutes is just so perfect perfectly cut at the end too
That ending was too perfect. Also, I love how fluidly Ina turns on the flashlight. That's a pro gamer move right there. She manages the controls very well. I see way too many people struggle to think about and unravel the mystery while navigating and managing the controls. It's nice to watch outer wilds streams when the streamer is already comfy playing games. It means they can focus on the important story and mysteries, instead of making the 4th trip back from the white hole station. I hope one day Ina reads Feldspar's comments next to the jetpack fuel.
What a poetic ending! It is amazing how Outer Wilds can bring about some of the most thought provoking and poetic moments on stream. Going from Solanum's description of the end of the universe, to thinking about how everything has an end just as the nova music starts, and somehow making it just in time to enjoy a marshmallow with Riebeck as we get obliterated. I blame controller use for most 'just barely didn't see it' / 'didn't look up' / 'didn't look down' issues. It's the slow panning versus your desire to not waste time that results in impatient incomplete vision. With a mouse it's so simple and fast to look up and down and all around.
Integrating gyro aim might improve that situation somewhat. It would at least make it easier to take quick glances vertically. I think it would also be great for controlling the ship.
Somehow every one of these ends perfectly, more so than the previous one. Only 3 more left, kinda hoping she gets an RNG surprise when heading to the ship one of those times.
Her lore exploration is straight forward linear. A contrast to my play which visit all planets and do whatnot and misses a lot in each section/planets, no wonder I had a headache playing this
