Double tracking
yeh basically double tracking , maybe even 3 layers. Try singing another take on the first and you will get a pretty poppy shinny vocal track.

tbh its pretty standard with every genre of music recorded this day , most definitely with anything you hear in the charts. Waves do a good doubler plugin too.
