  • This video demonstrates Yaskawa's ultra high precision motion control with Sigma-5 servo motors and amplifiers, linear motors, direct drive motors, and MP2000iec controllers connected on a MECHATROLINK network, using the pencil lead demo as a model.

    They missed the vertical linear and rotational DOFs, I suppose that would be somewhat redundant.
    Mind blowing precision test, nonetheless.
    Those pencil leads are now souvenirs.

    Any clue about how to sync two yaskawa servo without serial connection on only io connector i have only pulse and dirction and other signals for one motor

    Are there 13-bit encoders in rotary servomotors? ... 360°/2^13=0.044°

      +duncpol The Sigma 5 Rotary motors have a 20 bit encoder.
