Awesome idea. It would be even better if a bunch of people from different 'iconic' places made their own 'experience machines' to capture an experience from their region, and exchanged them with each other. Also, I found your channel via the secret santa playlist, and I can't get over how you look almost exactly like one of my friends IRL.. It's really strange to watch when thinking about that. It's like watching an alternate version who got into maker stuff like me instead of the path she chose. I guess everyone really does have a double out there somewhere.

As someone from New Jersey, I LOVED the SABRETT hotdog stand. Sabretts are my favorite and the umbrella is the best part, it's such an icon in NY and NJ. What a cute little machine. I like my hotdogs with mustard/sour kraut, or just cheese. Great job with this project

As a mechatronic enginerding student I gotta say I have not realised just how nice it is to make things reliable by using sensors for every step. With a microcontroller some ir sensors could give a bunch of functionality

You sent all the New York flavors but he wasn't haven't it, hah! Makes me wonder if there's a blooper reel somewhere of him trying the ingredients to find out they weren't his cup of tea.

The affect Thea came up with is actually really inspired and amazing! In your video it's a little bit jumpy as the pixels bounce, however I'm pretty sure that can be solved with having a "faded chase"... Remind me think about attempting to make something similar

I little outside the budget, but static hotdog with a Cnc type delivery device for mustard and a tool change to the onion tomato sauce would be cool too.

I immediately spotted the umbrella and wondered where you got a salesman's sample umbrella. I was floored when you made it yourself including the branding. Very, very cool. :-)
It might have been easier and more precise to drive the rollers to move the hot dog to it's condiment stations. Collin also had problems getting the hot dog under the stations. Nice idea just the same.

British Colin Furze fan here - Hello 👋. Loved the Hot Dog machine concept. I'm guessing the width was set bt the rollers you could get hold of, but V2 could be narrower to aling the 'dog better with the sauces. Awesome build either way - Sub'd
You should have used some sort of time actuator to push hotdog down the ramp so was always matched up with condiment Despenser. Only positive feedback though, first video of yours that I've watched and thought it had an interesting premise
