Just want to say "THANK YOU" !! Stumbled onto your channel while watching other fish talk vids. MAN you take me back! At 51 years old , I have been fishing since I was 5. I poured over all the BPS catalogs you show , {wished I still had them}. Your videos are such a cool trip down memory lane! Our local sporting goods store owner , knew that I did a LOT of fishing in our local river. He gave me 2 chrome / blk back Rat l traps , and told me to test them. On my 2nd cast I boated a 5plus lb. Smallmouth . Needless to say , I was instantly a Rat l trap fan! You could here them rattling , in an aluminum boat pretty well. If you have already covered this bait , I apologize, but , do you remember the little rubber / plastic frog that was made by Mister Twister ? I fished them alone in creeks and , also used them as spinner bait trailers. They were a REALLY good little creek bait ! Thanks

Rattle Traps now are RAT-L-TRAPS; over the years Rattle Traps lures has made some interesting models. Some were Super-Sized, some had line thru hooks, I know for sure there more I never saw or used. I use floating models and add weight to make them suspend just like jerkbaits. I first used Sonic models and Bayou Boogie models. I sent you a picture of two on FaceBook you may never saw before I have. They make others look like guppies they are huge ones. Old School Swimbaits you might say. I have a Rattle Trap I lost in a brush pile during a tournament. One week later we were fishing the same brush piles and my partner dredged my Rattle Trap up stuck to his Carolina rig. Retired that one to my trophy model. I believe Cotton Cordell made some with a pot belly full of rattles inside. Check out that picture it will be a hoot.

Anyway love that you're keeping the old-school alive. Maybe you can help me identify a lure that I got for my dad I am 32 and the slivers way before my time. Looks like a type of spinnerbait with two spinners that are horizontal instead of vertical. The Spinners are attached to a v-wire that itself is hinged on a wire coming from the weighted head of the hook that looks something like a buzzbait if you were looking at it from above it would look like an arrow. Anyway if you can identify that for me I would be much appreciative

There’s also a company that sells similar products called Guidebrod. I wonder if something happened to the original company and the name was changed for legal reasons.

Hey man I probably said this before I think I did on one of your pico perch videos way back when but when are you going to take pico perch back to salt water and throw it and see what you're right and see what you get I think it'd be 1 h*** of a bait to throw off of 1 those public fishing peers
