I never heard a black man say he can't fight, that's a real man right there to speak his truth because so many men are taught that fighting means they're tough when it takes a real man to resolve an issue without putting your hands on someone or using a weapon. He's in one of my favorite movies Assassins Creed, RIP.
I think men will say that once they hit that age where they no longer have a reason to fight. (Outside of protection for family or oneself)

I personally feel like the interviewers couldn’t connect with Michael, but he’s so personable that they still got along well.
I got the same immediate feeling.

@Guard Passer, I heard him say how thankful he was to Tupac Shakur, he say him and thought his look was great and specifically asked for him to be in a movie. It was said that after that, the offers came rolling in.
I have the utmost respect for this man.. His acting in The Wire was totally brilliant.. And like Seal, he took what would be an extreme detriment, and turned it into a mark of strength of character..

I have regular scars from having outa control skin during my teen age years. I turned to drinking and drugs to help ease the pain I felt when ppl looked at me strange. Cut to years later I discovered Microneedling, it helped tremendously.Self confidence, working out, love of family.No more self abuse. Rest in power King

man...i don't know what I was thinking, but i never watched or got into the the wire when it was on. i always heard the guys at work talking about it and how good it was. telling me i should check it out. i was always an OZ and Sopranos guy. but for the hell of it, i just started watching The Wire and HOLY SHIT!!! What a great show. the writing, the actors and the creativity of the characters are incredible! There are alot of great characters i like, but by far, Omar is my favorite character on the show. This man, is an absolute gem of an actor and a person. Big fan of the show now and of MKW.

I was watching the Black Market tv series starring Michael K. Williams and I got the urge to write a fan letter saying how much I appreciated the eye opening series. He was so open and honest about drugs and illegal trades and I thought it took so much courage to be that open. A few hours later, I pull up the front page of CNN and find out Michael K. Williams passed. Words can't describe it...I wanted to say 'thank you' for such a stellar series to him and however he was gone. A rare and gifted actor will be missed.
