S20 Ultra will always be the Samsung Galaxy Flagship Pinnacle. With the exception of the early OIS issues with the cameras, everything else made this phone the truly ultimate device. I still have my own with 16/512 GB that I always run back to from time to time. PS. I also have Note 20 Ultra, S21 Ultra and S22 Ultra but my S20 Ultra will ALWAYS be my favorite. I dunno if it's similar to yours but when I got my s20+ anytime I played it's smooth then starts to throttle and drop frames, I realized this was caused by the game booster app, before my game drops frames I would always see some bluish flash of light at the base of my screen indicating game booster was active, I disabled the app and my games always run smooth
A refurbished Samsung galaxy s20 ultra is the same price as Samsung galaxy a53 5g. The a53 is terrible for gaming and doesn't have 8k video recording capabilities. Refurbished flagship phones of 2 to 3 years ago are better than $500 midrange phones
Definitely worth it expandable storage alone is a good reason, honestly this phone still keeps up with the 1,000-$1400 dollar phones. It basically a Galaxy Note Ultra without the pen
