Gene Davis it could be the battery. The charge port is held on by two soldering points but if one of those breaks it won’t charge. You can start with a battery swap and go from there.

Sounds like it might be your charge plug. If they aren’t lighting up with new batteries it also might be that some wires have broken loose from the main board.
