  • Good evening everyone and happy Thursday! Tonight, we’re going to be using my 6” CabKing to do a little bit of polishing! So that being said, I’ve got 7 lucky pieces of BEAUTIFUL Kentucky Agate that are freshly dopped and ready for the wheels! (If you’d like to get your own CabKing, check out their website here: cabking.com) Polishing KY Agate is one of my favorite things to do and I can’t wait until we move down there and I can bring you all this content all the time!
Be sure to check out some of my Kentucky agate hunting videos here!

Love it. If I find any it will be forever before I’m able to cut and polish any. Not going to buy that equipment unless I find a bit.

When polishing it up for a good shine, how much time should you spend on each wheel?

It really depends on the size of the piece that you’re polishing, but I’d say once you make it to he right half of the machine (the final 3 resin wheels) and say you’re working on a piece of agate, I’d spend 5-10 minutes on each wheel at that point! I dry the piece frequently to check the quality of the polish and once I’m confident it’s gotten a good working on that wheel, I move on to the next!
