    Warren, just going through your backlog of videos. Im using your tray video to train my main fault the last week, which makes this driver drill easier to do. Just basically followed your moves in this video with the driver in the garden. Even though im getting on a bit, I feel I can generate much more speed than of late, as I stall quite often with the driver. Subconsciously I think I'm guiding the ball to keep it on the fairway. Its worked for my scoring, I got to single figures years ago. But 220 drives stalling isnt good enough. I feel I can gain 20 yards at least with this with practise. Great as usual Warren , thanks.

    Excellent addition to what is slowly clicking on the snapping release. I sometimes get the sensation that I need to brake the body in order to allow the release, rather than letting the body/shoulders just come through. What is the sequence on the downswing: drop the arms (and shoulder) keeping the bowed wrist, release the hands by putting on the brakes on the left leg and then turning through?

    • @warrenbennettgolfacademy
      @warrenbennettgolfacademy  Год назад

      It’s really hard to say as it’s so individual, but I would say judging by what you say and the transition happens so quickly, I would still be aware off your shoulders tilt and arms. Then working on your release separately. Plenty of rehearsal swings away from the course to be able to blend the lot.
      If you want to send a swing I’ll be happy to take a look. If you would like that, send me your number in dm on instagram or fb and I can watsapp you. Then you could send me your swings.
      Hope it all helps.

    Thanks once again Warren, you have a great way of explaining things so simply, amazed you don’t get lots more views and subscribers. I am so typical of how you describe a slicing golfer and rely on hybrids off the tee and my driver and three wood gather dust in the garage. Would this tip also potentially help my hybrids off the tee and also maybe worth a try with my three wood before I’m brave enough to get the “big dog” out again ? Cheers, Tony

    • @warrenbennettgolfacademy
      @warrenbennettgolfacademy  Год назад

      Hi Tony,
      Many thanks for the message, really appreciate your feedback that means a lot.
      Absolutely, but probably not as much as the driver as it's teed up more, but introducing shoulder tilt especially for a golfer who slices will always help.
      Good luck.

    • @warrenbennettgolfacademy
      @warrenbennettgolfacademy  Год назад +1

      Hi Dinesh,
      That's a tricky one as it's such a split second but I would say because the only thing holding onto the club are your hands, you can feel the palm of your right hand and the back of your left hand are facing the target.
      I have an impact video coming out on Friday so hope that will help.

    • @warrenbennettgolfacademy
      @warrenbennettgolfacademy  Год назад

      Hi there,
      Yes definitely, working on more of a role release is mainly for golfers who don’t have a release, so the video is mainly for those golfers, having a neutral release is something I would always look for.

    • @warrenbennettgolfacademy
      @warrenbennettgolfacademy  Год назад

      Hi Robert,
      It is similar as I’m an advocate of not changing swings but there are some differences, ball position being the main one, plus with an iron you can have a degree of lateral movement with the head but I would keep everything the same.
      Hope this helps

    • @warrenbennettgolfacademy
      @warrenbennettgolfacademy  Год назад

      Hey Tripp,
      Thanks for contacting me.
      Absolutely it can but I would say to a lesser extent with the irons as the driver is teed up, but yes having spine tilt is always a factor in getting the club in the slot.
      Hope that answers your question.
      All the best and please buzz over any more as and when.

    Thanks

    • @warrenbennettgolfacademy
      @warrenbennettgolfacademy  Год назад +1

      I would say it all depends on the level of how much over the top the golfer has. With the ball being teed up there is more required to encourage a more ascending strike, but with an iron there is always an element of shoulder tilt.
      I hope that helps and many thanks for seeing the video.
