    Jordan getting his hero moment was great. I liked the episode. Sarah and Jordan are going to break up (Clark said wait and see). Jordan is still uneasy and it's kind of stupid to think Sarah can be just friends with her kissing buddy, mainly cause she still looks at her some type of way. Lucy is and has been all in with Ally, plus she knew she would need Lucy, cause Anderson told her, that her father was in charge and she would be her back up plan to free her.

    When the others were being pulled through to portal screaming Ally said it was not supposed to be this way. That's when Anderson took control. As stated the pendant(s) are the key.

    Jordan saving Johnathan was the highlight of the episode with me. This was a good episode.
    Least favorite things so far in this season; the drama of the Cushing family, Jordan's and Sarah's relationship. I have a feeling that Jordan and Sarah are going to break up. Sarah will start a relationship with her camping kissing buddy at some point.

      Disagree on the Cushings. Say what you will about Sarah, but Kyle and Lana are still handling the situation they're in like adults. It's uncomfortable, but unlike the stuff with Sarah it's not overly dramatic, not is it springing up out of nowhere since it's following on from the problems that were set up in Season 1.
      Plus: I like both Kyle and Lana: so I'm actually invested in their relationship. Sarah on the other hand...

    did anybody notice the sore on Ally's Cheek when she was being questioned by Sam about Lucy. It kind of looks like the marks that are on Bizarro's face. I wonder if they have something to do with this Bizarro world and how long they are separated from it. Just a theory.......

    I don't think the people who went through the portal are dead. I think it's just a really painful transport to the other world. I think that's why Anderson takes the X Kryptonite so that it doesn't hurt him.....I think he's already been ascended also, I mean at the beginning of the episode, Ally of that world is telling Anderson of that world to tell his other self to relay a message to the other Ally, because she is not ascended yet and therefore they are not connected.....My theory probably has a ton of plot holes, but that's okay.

    Bizarro Kal wasn’t stopping the merge, his brother was and he killed him so that’s why she is doing the merge now. Bizarro wants the necklace for the power, he’s not a good guy. I have a theory about that Superboy pic that’s going around, Jonathan isn’t crossed out in the other universe, he may be the one that got powers on his earth and that’s who that is in the Superboy outfit. What did Clark do with Bizarro’s body, no one has asked him, wouldn’t Lois’s father ask that 🤔

  • @lumined6651
    @lumined6651 2 года назад

    Maybe the portal is not visible until a pendant is near it. It seems that you have to be physically with your other self in order to merge. Also, Nat was in stasis for 6 months until the computer picked up the signal from the suit

    Oh lord no, I truly hope we won't have another break anytime soon!
    These breaks are so painful, but on the other hand I'm glad that they're taking breaks and taking the time they need instead of releasing rushed half completed messes. Hopefully with the covid restrictions slowly fading they won't need as many breaks going forward.
    I've always felt bad for Jonathan, and it pains me to see what he's going through. He's gotten shit through out the entire series but always remained such a unimaginable good guy and brother. I'm not completely sold on Candice being Jonathan's true love and forever after, so I don't think it's worth throwing his life away. I'm sure there's another way to help Candice and her dad, but Jonathan has to come clean first.
    I also feel bad for Jordan. The situation with Jordan and Sarah has been a definite weak point in my eyes. I know Sarah has a lot of mental issues, including suicidal ones, and this whole thing with Kyle's affair has understandably been very hard on her. But there's been so much focus on Sarah that Jordan's thoughts and feelings are basically ignored. They've drawn a lot of very unjust comparisons between Sarah's secrets and so on and Jordan's secrets and so on. As mentioned Sarah has her issues, but I'm 100% on Jordan's side in their little drama subplot. A subplot that I fear will only get worse now that Jordan will have to be blamed for not showing up at the diner. Feels a bit like the CW drama plots have poisoned the Jordan&Sarah subplot.
    I know Kyle was at a weak point, but there's never an excuse for cheating. That's a line you don't cross. What's worse, is that he didn't simply cross it he stayed on the other side for like six months until Sarah's suicide attempt snapped him back to reality. I 100% support Lana breaking things off with him. I love Kyle and the actor that plays him does so perfectly, but I can't justify or excuse his actions. They just need to make sure that they can remain on friendly terms when they're around the daughter they both love and the daughter that they both neglect.
    Lucy, I feel will have a very difficult time coming back from betraying Sam like this. Not sure she'll survive and be redeemed or if they find someway to actually kill her this season. Feel so bad for Sam this episode and Lois's line "Why do they keep leaving me" really hit me emotionally, phenomenal acting like always from Bitsie.
    Still really salty about what happened with Bizzaro, but excited to see what will happen next.
    Always love your reactions to this show.
    Can't wait for next episode! :)

    The pendent is a key to the universe, one is out and the other is in and it only protects the person using it.
    when the wave hit their planet it erased it so there's no planet for anyone to go to so when he took the X-K, that allowed him to be strong enough to use the pendant to come back to " our" earth.

    Show is so good. Tyler is great as both Clark and Superman. At no point does it feel hokey.
    Just realized that Sarah is doing the same thing she did after Jordan kissed her. She broke up with her boyfriend and wanted him and Jordan to be friends.
    It is the one thing I am not liking this season. I get what they are trying to do but they are not doing it well.

    It was great to see Natalie and John again. I sincerely hope John's memory loss does NOT go the way I think it will because that will be MESSY!
    I do like how got an explanation as to how she got to Earth Prime though.
    I really question why Jon won't just tell his parents the deal with Candace. It just speaks to trust issues with his parents that I hope they address.
    I HATE this storyline with Sara and Jordan. I don't care if she is a teen, it's messed up! Plus it completely disregards Jordan's feelings in the matter just to make SARA feel better about herself. Not to mention is Aubrey okay with this because this whole situation is just weird.
    And Jordan using the fight was just an excuse because you KNOW he really didn't want to be there.
    I really liked the visual effects for the Portal.
    And Poor Sam! Lucy is DEEP in this cult with Ally so hopefully this opened his eyes.

      I think every time Jon tries to explain his WHY Clark cuts him off. I'm pretty sure he's tried to say why two or three times now.
      Agree with Aubrey/Jordan/Sarah -- it's weird and super inconsiderate of Jordan (he already forgave her super fast, so she's asking for A LOT).

    • @mco2l739
      @mco2l739 2 года назад

      @@KylaTalks But he hasn't tried to explain why. When asked his response is always that he can't tell them :( Both times Clark asked he responded "I can't" and the second time Lois spoke to him, she was calm and he didn't add anything extra to why he can't tell. At a minimum he should give up the name now of the guy that was threatening Candice, it would show he has realised the danger of x-k being out there. Both kids at times in this show have shown they've no fear of shouting at/over their parents when they want to be heard. I think Jon is showing some bad judgement here and is in a misguided 'hero' mode for his girlfriend.

      I don't think Jonathans problem is trust issues; to me it more feels like a misguided sense of nobility.
      Its the whole... well: "Superman" idea of "I will stand in the path of danger so someone else doesn't get hurt" that Clark has literally done at least 5 times in this series alone and Jordan did this very episode. He's doing "The Right Thing" by not letting someone else get hurt, not quite realising "The right thing" doesn't always involve doing the same thing each time.

    I didn't get to stay for all of your thoughts, so forgive me if y'all addressed this but -- OH MY GOD!! Thank you for reminding me it's for medical supplies. I was automatically understanding of the girlfriend because poverty is no joke and so is the cycle of poverty, so I understood her position from the beginning, but its exacerabated even worse when you have a sick parent in a one parent household. That means he probably cant work or is limited AND he's being billed constantly for medical issues that he can't control. It SUCKS that she's put in a position where she has to provide/keep her household afloat at such a young age, but it's a reality of a lot of young people's situation and is why many turn to "illegal" means of making money because it's more money quicker. It's easy to say "she should get a job," but what is an $8/hr job going to do for someone who is trying to cover not only the bills and food in her home, but the medical expenses for her sick parent? It's A LOT. And, it's even worse because she doesn't have parents like the Kents who can fight for her to AT LEAST get her homeschooled. She would just be expelled and the cycle of poverty would just start over again, plus she may lose a parent in the process. I completely get WHY Jon has chosen to help her and I think Clark would get it if he knew (and would maybe even try to help her). It's certainly not an easy position for Jon, but I fear the consequences would be far, far worse for Candance and Jon knows that, hence why he is protecting her.

    • @scottkendall7789
      @scottkendall7789 2 года назад

      I don't like Johnathan's girlfriend one bit. I think her whole story about needing money for her father's medical bills is a big fat lie. I don't think she's as impoverished as she's leading us to believe. AND, when it comes to Johnathan being in trouble with the XK, it's all her fault. Johnathan needs to see that and tell his dad and mom the truth. She's just using Jonathan, and the first chance she gets she's going to throw him under the bus, so to speak. Her telling him that she loves him is just another hook to real him in.

    • @KylaTalks
      @KylaTalks 2 года назад

      @@scottkendall7789 I don’t believe this at all. I also believe it would be a cheap trick on the writers to do something like that seeing that illness and poverty is real. So, I don’t agree, but we will definitely see who is right.

    • @MikeMozzaro
      @MikeMozzaro 2 года назад

      @@KylaTalks Illness and poverty is real: but at the same time: Reality vs. Beliefs is a theme that's come up qite a bit this season. Anderson vs Superman, Clark and Tal, and most notably the Inverse Cult. After all: Ally proves the Inverse Dimention is real: but that doesn't mean everything else she says or her followers believe is.
      I can kinda see the same thing happening here: especially since it brings up more parallels between Jon and Jordan since Jons actions are all based around what he believes to be the truth. Sarah is manipulating Jordan with the truth: Candace could be controlling Jon with lies.
      It might be that her family isn't sick at all, but it could also be exaggerated: they are sick but not to the extent that drug dealing is necessary. (Could be even one more layer deep and the parent is faking illness to everyone, even Cadance, for their own benefits.) I wouldn't call that a cheap trick if it happens, since it is thematically appropriate to the season.
