Paragliding adventure in Greifenburg| Thermaling in Austria| Flywithandy trip| Exploring the Alps XC

Embarking on a paragliding adventure in Greifenburg was a thrilling new experience for me! This video captures moments from the first week of May 2024 during an expedition organized by FlyWithAndy Tours.
I took to the skies on my Photon Ozone glider paired with the Forza Two harness, an EN C 2-liner rated glider that soared impressively at 88 over 85.. You'll see some challenging decisions, particularly in navigating thermals, showcased in the video.
I'm relatively new to this glider, having logged only 6 flights and 10 hours in normal conditions before tackling these tougher ones! It was a supremely challenging experience, but witnessing the grace and beauty of this glider in action made it all worthwhile.
In the video, you'll notice how smoothly I navigate small thermals, effortlessly turning without needing to use the outside brake. Even in more challenging thermals, I often found that simply holding my hands steady without adjusting them helped me gain altitude quickly. During turbulent glides, I primarily used the B System without engaging the brake, maintaining stability even when the glider was quite active. This technique allowed me to steadily gain altitude over the long term without experiencing any collapses. I reached many thermals with +6m/s, and it was very smooth, especially with this stable glider.
