IMO for them they looked the same but for the audience they had to make some changes, most likely for newcomers or kids who couldnt distinguish the color very well (most likely for kids that are newcomers).
This was a great episode. The only problem I had with it was the fact that the Mean 6 were disposed of at the end, because they were great to watch (especially Fluttershy, Rarity, and Twilight). Anti-Twilight especially would have been a great finale villain so I'm sad to see her go so fast, and hope there's some way to get her back for an episode.

I think so. The closest that i think another episode came to this, and it still might not even count, might be "A Matter of Principals" when the Mane 6 came back to the school having no idea what happened at the school when they were gone with Discord and Starlight.
As far as they know, everything that happened was just frazzled nerves and a weather/animal trashed campsite. Unlike A Matter of Principals, there's nopony to fill them in offscreen.
Now that this has been re-uploaded after the season finale... *SLIGHT SPOILER*... Chryssy & Cozy would be absolutely devastating as a team... if they both weren't so selfishly power mad. But both have been foiled by the Tree of Harmony this season...
I still say that Chrysalis might wanna rethink getting back at Starlight, after being almost taken down by Anti-Twilight. Especially if she's gonna do it by messing with Starlight's friends, unless Anti-Twilight's considerably more powerful than Starlight. On one hand, taking Starlight's friends away from her is likely one of the worst things Chrysalis could do to Starlight: she might not be able to take it, and could be easy pickings for Chrissy if it makes her in no shape to fight back. On the other hand, it could first piss Starlight off or make her snap, probably making her more powerful than she's even been, and she kicks Chrysalis' flank all over Equestria! Not that I'll mind the part of Queen Chrysalis getting her flank kicked by a full-power Starlight Glimmer!
What was wrong with this episode was not just how the staff handled Chrysalis in terms of character development, but the fact it's a repeat of what Discord did to the Mane Six back in Season 2.
