Nice to see that you have obtained a sponsor. I was a little nervous while you were rearranging your videos, I thought that you were ending your series. I am glad to see that you are continuing, you do such a good job with them.
David Moran Thank you for your valuable feedback I greatly appreciate it. You are right I did not stop just so busy lately. I have been working on a project "Alexa Taking Out the Trash" It consume lot of my time. I was going to post it then I was told to patent it before posting it. Hopefully I will be able to post it soon.
Hi there! I am working on a project that needs to power something more along the lines of 240v 10A and was looking at the FOTEK SSR-10. Would it work the same?
Thank you Nassir for these great videos I have question regarding the SSR, is it possible to use it with Raspberry and a manual switch ? in other word can I for example turn on the Bulb from the raspberry then turn it off from my manual switch and viceversa ?
Thanks for your feedback and help, great project. I will be looking to use google home with rasberry Pi and heroku eventually though likely will have technical challenges. I used the open ports method for google home from this tutorial here which worked well too ruclips.net/video/zp-HlLbT-xA/видео.html
John Hewitt Yes this should work Jesse with Python 3. You only need to use ngrok if you use this implementation. You can watch my other videos where I use free Heroku app or fauxmo library. ruclips.net/video/uS5dTx8vjq4/видео.html ruclips.net/video/Uvg0ruRkKgY/видео.html
Hello, thank you for your tutorial!! I am very new to raspberry pi and home automation... specifically my skills are mainly watching RUclips videos to achieve my projects. . If I may ask a request to show how to set up google home mini with a free server ? Please and thank you sir. Your iot videos are awesome! Also is it possible to make google home mini to execute voice commands without internet. If so a tutorial video for projects that do not require internet would be awesomeness! As I am working on a project that does not require internet. My goal is to make google home switch a series of relays that will control some heavy equipment. I want to turn google home into a worker. I am a truck driver and my work requires two people from time to time. Mainly one person to control the truck and one to do the work. I want to make google home control the truck. Eventually integrating the whole project with machine learning and ai. But first I want to make it work without internet as some jobs there is not wifi or hotspots available. Thank you sir! I love your videos! Thank you thank you thank you!
For SSR Omron G3MB-202P Input spec is like this: 4 to 6 VDC 440 Ω ±20% I'm not sure how it works since Raspberry output used to switch ON the relay is only 3.3V? I want to make sure before ordering similar 8 SSR relay module that it works without additional transistor/resistor straight from Raspberry 3B+ GPIO. Can somebody make it clear for me? Thank you

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Have you found a way to have the relay, just give a pulse, rather than staying picked?
Bill P I did it my multiple projects. Watch the following tutorial.

Hi, great project, can we run this without ngrok simply by opening a fire wall and putting one'surlin IFTTT?any changes to code needed?

John Hewitt Great job. Thank you for sharing your project.
how do you make a dc motor ( rated 220 V) turn a specific angle only by using relay???
Thanks for sharing.. Good tutorial
tiwar87 Thank you.
Hi, I can’t find the “Make a web request” on webhooks? What should I do?
Hi, will this run on Raspbian Jesse? Also, have you been able to get the work around for the dgrok issue?? thanks.

You can't control devices without Goggle or Amazon cloud service. You can control them with smart phone or pc.
Netmedias thank you

Hi, which is the best and free server that we can use with IFTTT for ESP8266 polling?
Prasad r.s Any free service is good as long as it gets the job done. I particularly like the Heroku since it is easy to deploy the code from GitHub.
Netmedias , ok I will try the same, thank you..
Hello can we use the same project with Android phone using Google assistant application
No
Do a project on controlling light using alexa echo and ngrok?
it is possible to connect rasberry pi directly to relay module
Yes, you have 2 options. Use local MQTT server or run a basic server to control the Pi with http commands
if we use ngrok do we need to keep on changing the url every 6 hours or something like that
Ngrok has its limitations. I am working on a better solution. Stay tuned.
@@netmedias7657 Use serveo
Nice! Thanks a lot, but one thing you can't say gpio 16 if the real signification is pin 16, isn't the same thing😉
RobotMan PIN numbering and GPIO number have different assignments.
Can you show how to set a gradge door control up with this system
lee kasen New version for garage door is coming and it auto calibrates it. I will be showing it in the next garage door tutorial so stay tuned.
Hi, Will this work on a regular google home?
Yes.
Or mobile?
work by rpi2 b ? with wifi stick ?
Yes
Can someone tell me if a ssr can be used for 5v direct current? would be to control an injector in a fuel injection project managed by arduino
You can't use ssr for DC current. Use a mechanical relay or mosfet.
Can you please make a video with Android Google assistant and pi
Sure, Stay tuned.
I using Google Assistant call my boot, boot using Dialogflow
it is possile with rasberry pi connect ofline to google assistant
No.
Sir after using ngrok at http requests..i am getting 500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR..plz plz plz solve this problem
I will be doing updated tutorial soon. Stay tuned.
without ngrok please?
Sure, thanks
