I've been watching this playlist as a series over the last few days. In conjunction with some of the channel's other video's, it's a good grounding in the basics (and I appreciate that Peter can't really go into too much depth). The brief discussion of wideband's in a 2 way was very helpful, its the first time i've even heard of them! Will definitely be getting in touch with PSSound.
The Phoenix gold e-series amps on my Kia build are like 25 years old not 15 so you can add another 10 years onto that.. I personally love a bit of old school goodness, n can't wait for the final tune with peter now the systems run in..😎
Trunk is so sick!!! Seeing the JL C7 gets big thumbs up from y’all makes me happy! Trunk is amazing no wires, the led going thru the lexan & the way it reflects on the yellow is 🔥💪✅
I always love the SQ info Peter, and your home system build is amazing. Keep the videos coming, i watch every single one to soak up as much info as i can. Alaska does not have many high end systems one cane look at & hear.
Another great informative video Peter, now I want to RIP all my kit out and start again..🙈. Every days a school day.Looking forward to your next video.😎
One of Gavin's REAL basshead customer's disturbing the peace! LOL! If you don't know Gav....you don't know car audio! Simply on of my favorite builds from the UK! I saw this in your previous videos and was in awe right off! I love simple looking systems but believe me, I understand what has went on underneath. NOT SIMPLE! Congratulations on all the success Gavin of Nottingham!
@@Subtronixcaraudio awwwww you remembered my illness..... Thank you! And believe it or not they made my day! You have no idea how much respect I have for both of you sitting in that car. as hard as it would be, I would just sit in that back seat and listen to both of you. Okay I finally would say something probably but oh my gosh the information I would! Again thank you for taking the time and please post more of your work on Facebook! It's in definitely worthy of showing!
@@justinmurphy2227 of course I remember man! Are you subscribed to my channel? Look up Subtronix car audio. Stuff on there may satisfy your bass head tendencies 😉
I’ve got a similar model focus (non rs). And I’ve been doing a build on mine over this lockdown period 😂. Audison Vice up front, custom pillars, and 2x Rockford p3 10” in the boot. While cars sound treated. And it’s brilliant. Isn’t a looker of sorts but it’s sturdy and works. And certainly puts out
Great video Pete! One reason I waited for so long to get my install as wanted to make sure I had an excellent installer! ( any recommendations for a decent installer for my next upgrade Pete? 😂 only joking 👍) thanks for sharing mate 👌👍
Thanks Peter for all your vidéos. So interesting. I'm looking for a pro like you or Gavin in France but I can't. It's seems there is no one competent over there. Do you have some contacts in France or do you, Gavin or you, install cars from France?
For whatever reason i feel like i’ve seen this message somewhere! 🤷🏻♂️ I’m right on the South Coast in Newhaven, there’s a ferry ⛴ coming to my doorstep from Dieppe in France too. I get cars from so far as Denmark too.
Pssound ok thanks for your answer. I'm really interested in your proposition for my futur car. Do you think it will be possible to listen an installation you made on a car in an event in france, deutchland, etc... maybe we have to wait to know if car audio events will be possible in some few month...
Interesting how he just put the mids in the door and competes. Do you think mids under seat can be put into cover the 150-50hz range and leave 150hz+ to the doors mids?
That would be just added complexity when the mids on the pillars can play from 250Hz upwards. They had to use the OEM location for midbass as the owner wanted to keep the car OEM looking other than the custom pillars. Also, i doubt you would find sufficient space under the seat in this car.
You need quality products but if you use an installer he has to be good as well. There are a lot of hacks out there, who in Peters words are shit. In the states the emphasis is placed on how much bass one can get. So four 18s in a sixth order, on 20000 watts, is what is considered good. Whatever, it’s easy to build a lot of bass, not so easy to create a true listening experience.
I think if you look at all the activity behind them you'd realize this was filmed before certain restrictions. It takes time to film and edit videos.....especially if you're like either of these gentlemen and extremely busy. That's why movies film one year and are released in another. Neither of these businessmen would risk the law or their health..........even for car audio. I wish people would focus on the subject at hand other than trying to "bust" or confront the uploader. I tried to handle this simply because they are busy and do not need to worry about things like this. Sorry if I have over stepped my bounds but I was doing absolutely nothing useful and thought I'd handle this and be useful......instead of HURTFUL. Thank you Gavin and Peter for all you do. See, actually less words but more constructive. Hmmmm......

Good teaching
Would tweeters in sails (in this car) be preferred over mid/tweet pillars? (for competition)

Paul Fretz haha only bassheads need that much bass, who consider SQ as “clear highs and vocals”, right? 😂
How much in total did this cost?
No idea, i wasn’t the installer, but probably way above £12k.
MOVE OVER Z-REVIEWS, SOUNDMAN....PSSOUND UPLOADED A VIDEO...DUMPS HIS SON IN BED AND CLICKS RUclips...
justkiddin1980 😂😂😂😂😂
Pssound Yep priorities!👍🏻🤪
How much
It wasn’t me building it, but full system with equipment and installation is definitely above £10k.

Hopefully this was filmed before lock down or you live together.
If you watch and listen they are at a car show, so must have been way before lockdown.
LynxEng it was recorded last September at UK Finals.
