I would describe it less southern and more folksy and cliché. Not sure what the inspiration is, but I way prefer the version of paul that just talks about disc.

The pauses in speaking are refreshing. I love when commentators aren't constantly talking. I wish this style would happen way more often. Very enjoyable, great job Uli & Zach! ❤
I just want to shout out Colton Montgomery, the wife and him went through it in the past year. Really glad Kona is cancer free and I just gotta shout out a good man doing what he’s supposed to and supporting his wife through a really tough time. Need more good men out there.

@M1ster.Fr3sh I guess you only watch one side of the ball. O lines for all teams get away with it a lot more than you are noticing. I could show you at least 10 missed holds for one team any given game. But just keep cherry picking what you want to see.

Agreed. Also, no exaggeration for every shot and hold players accountable for bad shots.
Its got the early Jomez, pre-Big Sexy vibes, where it'd be sort of a random pairing of pros and they'd be feeling it out Round 1, but would just be talking disc golf the rest of the way.
Its a nice reminded that as good as Nate/Jerm/Uli are, they're POLISHED pros in the commentary world, and sometimes a little less polish is a nice change of pace.

Sure it's a great play to get -10 for the round thru 15 by Ezra Aderhold and -9 for Robert Burridge... but this is on hole 2 for the lead card!!! I will not stop complaining to post production being treated as live scoring! Effin bad bad bad, lol.
*The beetree is a casual Relief, treat it as OB without a stroke else you get 2 penalty for misplay just tossing from the lie ;D
Yes, one of the advantages of post production is that we can put up a leaderboard that shows where all players stand through the same number of holes. Jomez used to do this even for rounds after round 1.

I’ve been watching since 2017. My subscription to this channel at that time has led to their success. Maybe it’s not feasible to show that kind of leaderboard after each hole anymore and that’s fine. I just agreed with your comment because I miss those days.
