Hi I love these kinds compilations they are what got me into plants three years ago. But I have a question about my tetrasperma or mini monstra, I didn't water it enough and it's very leggy and i need tips on how i can make it full again
Hey there, I'm glad you like the compilations. So, in my experience, tetrasperma do like moist soils but the plant getting leggy is nothing to do with watering but the light you are providing. If your light source is weak or far away, the plant will start stretching out to the light. Tips to recover: Bring closer to bright indirect light. Trim the leggy stems and make propagations with them. Water when top soil is dry to touch. Use a mister or cover with plastic to increase humidity which promotes new growth. Add good and natural nitrogen fertilizer like leaf Compost. After this you will start seeing new stems and growth all over your plant. Giving it a fuller look. Lemme know if it helped.
I have some questions, I love plants I have a lot, but I have a really big fear of bugs, and I know my plants attract bugs (aphids, gnats, beetles etc) are there any at home remedies that might be able to kill bugs but be safe for the plant? Or any tricks I can do
I had an aphid problem with my hibiscus tree and I found that the quickest way to get rid of them was to blast them off with water first and then for the next couple days spray them with a mixture of 1 part neem oil, 1 part dish soap and 2 parts water
I love these vids
