Former video store owner here... A great haul, mate. I feel like you're skimming over the real gold... for real, KEEP Ambulance. A classic!
Also, the difference between sell-thru and ex-rental is the quality of materials and longevity. Cassettes made for rental have a lot longer life in them... Also, videos made for rental have the good stuff like coming soon trailers and other time-stamp qualities, whereas sell-thru often jump directly into the feature. Most collectors dismiss sell-through.
This is correct.
From working in a replication facility (on that would have made a lot of these) the sell through titles were typically made with a high-speed replication method on that flimsier tape from a sub-master opposed to the rental that was typically made direct from the 1-inch master or Digibeta was a real time copy. Good chance I mastered and compiled the release of it was done between 97 and 2000. I see most are well before my time.
Some absolute gems here!

That's really interesting. I would have thought sell through - as being lessed played would be better quality. If i put aa sell thru compared to the same tapes as ex-rental the sell through is always cleaner - but probs cause it's only been played once or twice
Good stuff.. Liked what you had to say.. 🖐🏽
Glad you enjoyed
Wouldn't mind a copy of Halloween 2 for my collection.
I have them all now - except for Halloween 3, which doesn't count anyway hehe
@@darkepicfilms the og Halloween & Season of the Witch/Halloween III (where the f*ck is Michael Myers) are the best out of the series/films..
Ah you have to see Deuce Bigalow it's the latest thing 💀💀
$7.50 for a new release and 2 for $8.60
