I was there. So were my sisters. My younger sister has MS and uses a mobility scooter. Bruce sent a guy to give her one of his plectrums. She treasures it. Thanks Bruce!
That's the third time I've seen Bruce live over 20 plus years, it doesn't get better than that night damp night in Sunderland. Such raw emotion at times. It made this life hardened 50 year old shed a tear or two and I don't mind admitting it. loved every second of it and hope I get the chance to see them again. Thank you Bruce and the band for being such a big part of my life.
I was there! Legitimately did not recognise Steve Van Zandt from "The Sopranos", even though Silvio was my favourite character. Also it's just hit me that Roy Bittan and Max Weinberg would also have still been members of the E Street band, so I was sharing the same damp, sea-fret-laden oxygen as two musicians who played on the "Bat Out of Hell" album. Damn, I'm slow! 😂 Brilliant concert, though! Wasn't going to pass up a chance to see The Boss live in my own back garden!
Awesome gig. Sure enough, the crowd was like this all night long!!! Bruce and Sunderland went together superb. What a performance!! Will take something to top this one! Truly memorable.
I understand that Bruce has all of his shows filmed these days. The Who did the same recently and sold the recordings of the individual shows (cd's and DVD's) in aid of charity. Wouldn't it be great if Springsteen did the same?
Am not a huge fan, went with my brother, he's a huge fan, apart from the weather was a concert I loved and won't forget ❤️ He is one of thee best musicians, artists, performers and proper lads I've seen, only performer I've seen that good was James Brown, same era, same belief, same talent ❤️❤️ Thanks Bruce ❤
