I can honestly think of a few things people might not like about it, from the stereotypes it played into to the nonsensical monster life cycle and the cheesy, dated jokes. But I was growing up when it hit theaters and it was a "classic" long before I knew to criticize any of that.

The directors were in on it with the cheesy jokes and the intentionally thin excuse for a story and character motivations, but the appeal was largely in how hilariously dumb it was and in the wacky antics of the puppets. And it's hit or miss on whether or not people like the antics.
It gives me the same vibe as something like honey I shrunk the kids or the spy kids original first movie, but doesn’t succeed as much as those two because I think it’s trying to take itself too seriously.

It's wild to think that 6 of the 7 fails are caused by gremlins. I counted them through the video including the ones raysfire thinks were also sabotages.
Watching the Gremlins surround you for their interference plays was like watching a highway thug biker gang in an apocalypse movie team up on a lone survivor’s vehicle. Especially at the end with their little Mad Max Fury Road formation. I love these challenges by the way!
Rays what if you do this chalenge with friends.And make a tournament. So each round you have to try to speedrun this challenge and the fastest ones continue untill there was one that stands victorious.
