Boy George’s voice has certainly changed from his Culture Club days, but I’m not complaining one bit! I love how he has adapted his musicality to his deeper voice and vocal range. For me, it was all about the two Georges in the 80s…we have already lost one of them (George Michael), and so we need to protect George O’Dowd at all costs! He is an underrated treasure as a singer-songwriter!

Our children were in middle school and secondary school in the 80s and we used to watch Much Music and MTV with them. Our whole family liked Boy George. It’s incredible to see him still performing and he’s still great.
