We've seen the rifles that launch a small tracking-capable drone like aircraft that knocks drones out of the air and can be equipped with a small amount of explosive material to down the larger ones barely. We've seen the large and bulky signal scrambling rifle also. You point it and it is supposed to knock out the control and visual feedback. We've seen the drones attached to 10 miles of thin wire almost invisible from 20 feet away that can track targets far enough and resist those signal disruptors. A home-grown emp rifle would be interesting to see develop regardless I suppose

Im far more interested in the "corded" drones that don't rely on long distance signal connection for visual feedback or controls. There's really no stopping one from hitting a target but they only work well as kamikaze drones and not so much as loitering "drop" drones

Yep I'm taking an old tech and giving a modern twist. I'm building a platform bases off of the blunderbus smooth bore. I can fire 60 mm flechettes, nails, BB'S multibarrel config. The 12 gauge is the most effective means found yet. However 12 gauge rounds are not the way. I'm using alcohol off a 2 Oz bottle I can get 1000 shots. You can fire subsonic or sonic by just changing the the amount squirted I to the chamber. It is relatively cheap and safe to utilize. After getting the kinks and amounts mm worked out I can get 100% ignition with a piezoelectric ignitor.
