Nice DIY project! You did great! Cutting at an angle is always hard. We usually don't notice 1 degree off, and then it creates a bit problem at the other side. Turned out good! Keep up the good work! And you look and speak really nice too! Pleasure to watch!

​@@emilyfreyblerhome8332the Big gap you could have used joint compound for drywall and wipe it with a wet sponge you can also do this when installing a floor trim

If you do this again, if the mud dries to the tape you can remove it with a wet sponge as well! This is freakin awesome! Gonna use it as a backsplash.

When you use your fireplace how do you keep that white clean? Is it a real fireplace or electric? Looks nice by the way. I want to do around my whole fireplace though . Is that possible?

It's a gas fireplace so it doesn't change the color of it at all.
