LOVE the Post!! She does a wonderful job to cover this Tammy Wynette Classic and The Band sounds Awesome👍 Steel Player and Lead Guitar are outstanding and I really like the finishing touch they put on at the ending👌 Wish I could be right there to listen LIVE too!! Excellent Venue for Real Country Music the Way it Should Be!!🍺🍺🍺

That's a great song, but in this performance I felt that the guitarist and steel player were just too busy, rather than letting Emily sell the song. Sometimes less is more.

I didn’t film this but do keep in mind that this is not a professionally recorded video and many of the musicians who play on that same stage every night at Robert’s in Nashville spent their careers touring with some of the biggest names in classic country music. Videos don’t do justice to the quality of 1950-1980 country music you’ll experience there. BTW if you haven’t picked up on it, we fans of Robert’s are a bit “protective” of this ole honky tonk. It ‘s one of the few remaining, sadly. 🤙🏻

@@bradvb6784 Thank you. I'm aware of everything in your comment; none of which really addresses my point, which is that I would have preferred to see the other musicians hold back a bit, rather than playing over the singer.

Guitar is overpowering. It sounds like there in competition .
