Neil Peart “Bastille Day” Isolated Drums from the Rush album "Caress of Steel" #isolateddrumming #isolateddrums #drumtracks #neilpeart #rush #caressofsteel
In Neil's voice and tone: Perhaps the photo should contain the Slingerland Caress of Steel Era Kit, since that's what we're hearing.. not the Tama drums.
I personally think Neil's drums sound the best on the Caress of Steel and Fly By Night albums. They have a really cool dry sound and aren't over-mixed/compressed.
Mahogany drum shells which have a drier, more "tubby" sound. He changed over to Birch drums in '79 for the Permanent Waves record. Used those through Power Windows. Beginning with Hold Your Fire, used Maple drums until the end
These songs are all so BURNED inside my brain, that i can clearly hear the vocals, bass, and guitar parts on these isolated drum tracks!
Same !
His drumming is so unbelievably creative
I always love when drummers play the ''Mommas little baby loves shortening bread'', beat! I do it myself!
Thanks!
hes about song band members sych and before you could imagine dedication
