@@scottgood7888 … Nobody is perfect then? Perfect for the Raiders with the 13th or 44th pick? Kirk Cousins is coming off of an Achilles injury and yet he got the biggest payday of ANY free agent this year. Penix is what he is .. a play action pocket passer that has a big arm with touch…. If the Raiders had a top 3 pick then Jayden Daniels would’ve been the guy….The absolute perfect guy the Raiders should’ve gotten was CJ Stroud last year? GM Zeigler had a trade ready to go allegedly but our loser, dip 💩 coach at the time Josh McDaniel didn’t want Stroud… he wanted the guy that Carolina took… and squashed the stroud trade…. You saw first hand how that worked out??? So now what’s left is Michael Penix jr. who with 2 bad wheels came in 2nd in the heisman last year… I watched him tear up Texas last year in the sugar bowl with 2 td’s and 430 yards ( with bad wheels) on New Years Day… didn’t bother me he came up short against Michigan last year. But the kid was stellar…. Nobody throws a better 🏈 than Penix in this draft… not even Caleb….The QB’s can do things better that Penix minus the injuries but not throwing the ball…. Opinions vary… but you get him cheap? …let him sit behind Minschew and learn and rest … in a year or 2 you just might have something? We’ll see? They compare Penix somewhat to Tua… and that dude has a ton of injuries … the Dolphins 🐬 just let Christian Wilkins walk in Free Agency ( thank you very much🙏) in order to save cap space so they can resign Tua next year? So past injuries don’t always determine a player’s abilities or future success? … Penix is the guy. JMO. 👍

Bo Nix would be perfect in NY with Daboll. High football IQ and quick processor. They can really scheme out things together. Bo Nix is the obvious choice. Most game experience, best decision maker, best accuracy, and best pressure to sack %, fewest interceptions, and a whole lot yards and TDs. Strong arm, good athlete, mobile, can throw from different angles and off platform, Pre and post snap processing, throws routine plays consistenly, etc.... This is my guy. I see him as potential combo of Drew Brees Light, Baker Mayfield Heavy, and Russell Wilson sprinkled in. He is a gamer who was born to play football. I see him imo as Flutie or Fitzpatrick 2.0. This guy is a grinder that his teammates are gonna believe in and go to work for.

I thought JJ looked the most inaccurate of all QBs. I had no preference in watching, just noticing who was catchable and who was not. They all had the same circumstances with receivers they didn't know, and others were throwing catches. Hartman and Milton were throwing with anticipation, for example, very catchable balls. Milton was very accurate, and seem to have the most control over his arc and speed. Milton let it rip, and looked effortless throwing 60yds.

He's older than teams want. They want 22 not 26. He's been healthy the last 2 years. So, it's not that. It's age and he wasn't a QB who was 1 read a run. Everyone thinks you need a QB who gets 1000 yards running. You don't. If the QB can't throw you win nothing. Look no farther than the Raven. Jackson isn't good in the pocket. When he has to make the play from the pocket the Ravens lose. The playoff against KC was the perfect example. He throws a ball that was into what triple coverage for a team crushing INT. That's Jackson. Yet everyone wants one. Why you don't win with one. You win with guy who make plays in the pocket who can run but it's not something they want to do. Penix can run but he chooses to actually throw the ball. Shocking a QB who throws the ball. If a team keeps him upright, he'll be very good. Just as good as Williams.

Penix’s games were on at 9p’ to midnight on thrash coast. That’s the only reason he’s not the Heisman winner and a top 2 pick. All the criticisms of Penix are also present in every other top QB, BUT he is the best passer on the most difficult throws of any QB in the draft and that is not something a guy like McCarthy is going to suddenly acquire in the NFL.

Penix is the only player that can succeed in year one with a team like NE. He gets rid of the ball quickly, and has a history of making average receivers better. He did it at IU and if you don’t believe me on UW look at the trio’s numbers before Penix(yikes). None of these other QB’s can elevate the talent on NE with the close exception of Daniels. I’d trade back with a QB hungry team like LV who wants JD and take Penix. Then with that draft capital you can get a few weapons in this WR heavy draft. Penix is will go earlier than what these mock drafters think.

His passes were dimes that didn’t seem different to penix’s to me until he lost that balance with the lower body injury I was talking about. It’s par for the course to me that he’s shining after a little time to rehab, and I fully expect him to exceed expectations in the nfl. Mike Florio, After Simms says that Caleb Williams decided not to throw at the combine, "What's the need to? What's the point"? Hey jackass, it's the NFL Combine. This is the opportunity top throw the ball in front of the GM's and reps from all 32 Teams looking to draft players for the NFL!!! That's why they are there, and that's why you should use the opportunity to demonstrate your skills, even on a canned level. This is an easy workout for a QB. You gather, you meet with the various pro teams, you get to know them, they get to know you. And you throw the ball a little and let them see your strength throwing the ball, your timing, and your arm mechanics. Why would q college player looking to get drafted not want to show everyone what he's got - especially if he is confident in his ability to throw the ball. Instead, GM's are left to wonder why, and to look at other QB's who are and engaged in the process of showing off their talents. I fully expect Caleb Williams to drop into the 3 or 4th QB picked in this draft. we'll see.
