This is one of your best videos, in addition to showing the lodging options it reveals the activities available to the visitors. Your calming narration is an added bonus. Thanks, Patty for a wonderful video.
Thank you Patty that was great I am so glad you shared your area because I was interested in the golden frog now I got to see it and it is really beautiful.
Valle Verde is super photogenic from the road... I got a couple of great pics of it with the mountains behind that are some of my faves from El Valle. Golden Frog is where I stayed for my 10 days in town. I loved the small scale and intimate setting. I think it only has about 20 rooms. along with the breakfast buffet you can also order a la carte items from a menu. I ate enough for 2 people each day so I could skip breakfast and save some money. the pool area was the highlight for me, although it can get crowded at times. was not really aware of Cabanas Potosi so it was nice to have a look at their property as well. seems like a nice quiet and relaxed vibe there!
Thank you for taking the time to show us via videos the beauty of your home and surroundings! If I may give you a couple of gardening tips. Fig trees love the sun and the roots dislike underground competition. Plant approx. 5 feet away from other trees. They also drink a lot of water! Tomatoes love basil! Basil enhances the tomato flavor. Looking forward to your next video.
I’ve heard that tomatoes don’t do well here, so I’ve been ignoring them! But today I was thinking I’d give them some support. I think the fig will do better when transplanted - and I will take your advice and give it space 🙏
@@Pattybluehayes That is true! Tomatoes like the sun and heat.... but not the heat closer to the equator. Perhaps, a shady spot with indirect sunlight. Plus lots of composted soil... very rich in nutrients!!! Plus lots of mulch on the top of the soil. Prevent the soil from drying too much!!! Plus all the beautiful basil not far from the tomatoes. Basil loves the sun and heat! These are just suggestions. I have been a gardener in Ontario, Canada for over 30 years and it certainly is different in the hotter countries. I love all those beautiful plants and fruit trees you have in your garden. Thank you for sharing!!!
"Ficus yoponensis is a species of fig tree found in Central and South America. It can grow to heights of 40-50 metres (130-160 ft) tall, having a trunk diameter of 1 metre (3.3 ft). The trunk is buttressed, light grey in colour and reasonably smooth." I googled the above information. Would you happen to know the type of fig tree you have in your garden???
Thanks for being a consistent viewer! I’ve been looking for work for over a year and not having much luck, so I’m upping my RUclips production efforts 😆
Hi Patty. How fun. Really enjoyed this vid. That wind looked powerful. Question, Can you reference an info website that can give info on heat, humidity, rainfall & wind for the different micro climates of the El Valle de Anton area? I'm on the hunt for the lowest humidity/wind area. Thanks again. Always enjoy your vids. Dawn
@@seizeself-loveself-care9869 Well, being a car person, that would be my first choice. You can rent at Allbrook Mall instead of the airport. Shuttles are available, like Services Coronado. And there are direct buses. Some people will get the bus to Coronado and rent a car there, much easier if you haven’t driven in Panama before.
@@seizeself-loveself-care9869 I don’t know why it didn’t show. You can take a bus direct to El Valle from Allbrook Mall at the bus terminal. The local buses will stop EVERYWHERE 😆 Or you can get a shuttle like Services Coronado, or post in the FB groups for drivers.

Thank you, I know where I will stay when the time comes. I probably won't want to leave.

I plan to do more but some hotels don’t respond or their email is defunct 😆
I love this Patty, You're a natural interviewer.
Thank you!!!
Thank you so much! Your video was very helpful in deciding which accommodations to recommend to a friend who has never been to El Valle before.
Oh good! I’m glad it was helpful 😊
When you play back up here in El Valle, post on the FB group 🎶

That must have been nice to have the Golden Frog for a longer stay 😊
The pool looks so inviting. And they have music on Saturday nights.

@@msirenegarcia wow! I hope it doesn’t get that tall😳 I don’t know the type of tree it is.
Great video, Patty. Thank you! El Valle is one special place. It is hard for me to want to go anywhere else when we are able to get out of the city.
It’s pretty special here 😊 Thanks for watching.

I bet many Panamanian families would be willing to pay you for tutoring their children in the English language.
@@guillermogouldburn763 I don’t have a work permit in Panama, but working online might be ok. If you know of anyone, please give them my contact info!

Oh gosh, I don’t know of one. It’s hard to measure because it’s so fluid. It’s probably best to spend time here to see.
Thank you for the quick reply Patty.
Hi Patty. What is the best mode of transportation to get to El Valle from Panama City? Thank you for these options. I’ll be scouting in December.
