Thanks for sharing, also at Hefner if you bottom fish with some stink bait attached to a treble near the water outlet where the water is sucked out for treatment you’ll catch some big cats!
I live in Oklahoma, and the first spot I did was at the lighthouse. I have proof that the beach and the lighthouse is great. Just use either something heavy or a neon lure
Late summer they moved into deeper water but I would still fish areas that are shady. Also boat docks and the marina area. Remember the bass want to be where the water is cooler. Wacky rig senko works good too if u need an idea of what to use. It's easier to get around the spots by boat but it can be done on foot too.
Which lure? I know I used a Yamamoto swim senko 5.5 inch and some crank baits that day. Describe the lure or point to a time in the video I'll look back and see what it was
Appreciate the vid brother, just started fishing last summer which it was a super hot summer so fishing was tough, lake Hefner has been so hit and miss for me, I usually do better at ponds in Edmond or Yukon.
I remember that boat ramp/dock. Thats the one where all the morons like to fish off of, they bring the whole family and chairs and take up the whole dock and when you are trying to position the boat, they wont move or take their lines out of the water.
Thanks for posting this on Hefner, now I know places to fish on Hefner.
No problem that was the purpose of the video. I wanted to show everybody that even though it's a rough Lake you can still find spots that are good.

I would say you did well fishing in late fall. Im betting one could fish that riprap boat dock, boat ramp area all day and prob catch some nice bass.
Any tips for catching fish here in the late summer? Haven’t had a single bite and I’ve been all over.

You should check out Tuesday nights at Hefner they have a tournament there's some big fish getting caught out of there
Dang you guys should have kept the catfish and white bass and would have a nice meal between the two.
Usually we do but I just didn't feel like cleaning the fish that day.
What time were you on the water?
We got there like around 8:00 a.m. and left at 6:00 p.m. or 7:00
What are the best points from the shore
In the vid I show you some spots that are good from the boat and from the shore

Why would I reel my line in when you are in a boat and have more control of where your line goes?? 😅😅😅😅
They take up the whole dock. We are talking about when ypur ready to leave. Not fishing the dock.
