That’s a very nice fishing and hunting kit… I don’t know as much as I would like to about those two subjects, but at least the fishing items are much better than what we usually find in other survival kits, so I guess it’s very good for those who know how to fish and hunt and want a very good complement to the traditional survival kit. Very good video as always, by the way!
Thank you i appreciate it a lot! You can always learn how to hunt and fish I believe starting to fish is a lot easier to get into first before hunting and killing an animal. If you find a good buddy to go fishing with sometimes you don’t even catch anything and you still had fun!
@@whitetailsurvival2430 yes, I want to start to learn fishing, and probably I’ll try it with a friend soon… I’ve been having some problems with my knee lately, but as soon as it gets better I want to give it a go. I’m not so sure about hunting, though, and anyway I think European and local regulations are pretty strict here when it comes to that. By the way, I hope I’m replying to your message properly, the message system in youtube still is a bit confusing to me 😅
The Boss kits are good ones. I always put the foam earplugs in my kits for a last ditch fishing float or to use how intended if frogs and bugs too loud.
@@whitetailsurvival2430 fish will bite anything so maybe as bait too the salmon eggs probably can be rehydrated but if anything they probably marinated the lures with scent. And I would love to see the reel in a video.
Keep'em comin'. these kits are all kool. I think you may be wrong about how to use those right angled screw pins. They aren't long enough to hold much of a spool of line (maybe a bobbin), certainly not the spool that was included. I think they are meant to be screw in near the handle of the rod, 5 or 6 inches apart with the bent ends turned away from each other. Then you can wrap the string back and forth over the two pins. I've seen cane poles that were set up this way. You just unwind what you think you'll need to reach the fish and pinch it in your fingers until you cast it. When you're done you wrap it back on those pins to store it. You should check your local game laws before you use the yoyo. Some states prohibit them and speed hooks. It wouldn't matter in an emergency or in your own private fish pond, but just for giggles would be a fine probably in public waterways. Even bushcrafted spring pole fishing is illegal in some places.
I have made a few spring L7 traps with fishing line and they work great I think where I live no one would ever know if I used it or where I used it at I will have to try that fishing rod trick with a nice green sapling
B.O.S.S. kits are cool, please review more of them if you can! I played around with YoYo reels at the family summer cottage as a kid and caught bluegill & perch by tying the reel to a dock cleat and using a bobber with a mono leader, small hook & bread ball but mostly the bait was stolen without triggering the mechanism. I'm sure there are smarter ways to rig a YoYo!! Enjoy hunting season WS, looking forward to more kit reviews & tests.
I will be doing another video soon I appreciate it alot thanks for coming back and commenting every time. I do want to test that reel out maybe see if a bigger fish will grab it
They actually make more supplemental kits like this. They have shelter, water, purification, trauma, first aid, mobility, and signaling kits. It’s pretty cool to see maybe I will pick up a few more to go over
Does that mini tool seem fairly sturdy? I'm thinking of ordering one. I like kits that have a ton of cordage because they say you never can have too much of it
It’s ok I have seen these before in other kits they are pretty cheap to buy and they are hit and miss in the quality department they are not a bad last ditch tool for a kit like this though
Thanks!
Thanks again i appreciate it!

Great idea that’s awesome as an emergency fishing float!

Personally I like the BOSS kits.
I think it’s a cool system I might pick up a few more of the other parts of the system to go over
Take these kits with you on your hunts and use some of gear while you're in the field.
That’s a great idea it might not hurt to do that
👍🇲🇾
Thanks
I would like to see how the reel works in real time. Sorry if it inconveniences you but I am pretty curios.
Nice maybe I can use this and the hooks from the card on the last video together for one

This kit looks expensive?
It wasn’t that bad when I bought it I’m not sure if you can still get it or not
