Nova main here. Quite often, I get top Siege + Hero damage, with very little deaths. I don't quite understand the low overall Winrate. Granted, this damage (esp. Siege) only scales up towards endgame. The crucial bit for the Siege damage is to either go Snipe with AoE effect, or have Orbital Strike with 2nd charge. IMHO, Orbital Strike with 2nd charge is about as powerful as Ragnaros' Lava Waves. For XP gathering, get the 60% CD / Mana reduction for Holo Decoy. You can run around the map and just drop the Holo on XP orbs to quickly collect them for you, and move on.
Imho the issue here is that a lot of games end before that. Lose the early game hard enough (and as you need time to power up this happens more often than not) and you are looking at a 12 minute game.

IMO, pally, try using R for wave clear a bit more. The low CD you mention + the bribe stacks you gain for killing the waves turns Nova into a map pressuring power while roaming for damage. It gives you the "wave clear" feeling sooner than 16.
honestly that R is just one of the best waveclear abilities. you just play for picks and every minute you clear out a stacked wave in the off lane with a single R. sort of like a bad version of lava wave but it lets you go for max DPS in your other builds. if you still go bribe it fills up SUPER fast when combo'd with using R that way.
I prefer the upgrade to precision strike because having two charges of a global ult with a 50 cd is extremely strong. Also rewind is another button I have to concern myself with and I hate that.
The reason why Nova's winrate is low is because of all the reasons you listed, but more because they just nerfed her into the ground at the one thing she was good at, assassination Thats why it was acceptable for Nova to be bad at all those other things, because she was good at one thing. But now she's just bad at everything and only "sort of ok" at assassination.
The reason her winrate is low is because people have not adapted their mental image of how the character should be played. Basically, I believe she should be played as a scout with utility, damage and even macro potential. Her ability to provide vision (including denying bush cover to a fleeing foe), dismount foes in a rotation and freeze lanes is absolutely insane with reduced mana cost Clone. Bribe is situationally quite good. AoE Snipe - not only for Snipe build! - and Precision Strike talents provide a huge boost to waveclear and siege without leaving the team fight in the mid to late game. Her AAS talent - which was recently buffed - just deletes squishies and seriously softens up other priority targets for your team to collapse on. Nova is a fine hero, and I’m really glad to hear that we can expect 3 more Nova videos from Pally.
@@nathanael2572AAS sucks in teamfights. Its damage output is too low. Perfect Shot combined with Explosive Round does a lot more damage than AAS. And yes, I know how unreliable it is, but in case of Nova it's worth. If you can't constantly hit Snipe, you better not to play Nova (not you, just a random player).

Not sure about Nova to Kerrigan, but I think Kerrigan has dialogue to Nova, at least if Kerrigan is using a ghost skin - basically tells her to hold my beer.

I've been hated out of games before for taking the Bribe talent on Nova. The worst was a game on Blackheart's Bay, which has a ton of merc camps. Like... What? 3 people sat in the fountain and blamed me for our loss.
I had that an in an ARAM, and I died once early, because I made a mistake, guy just sat by base when he saw me take bribe, but the other 4 of us kept getting kills, and I kept bribing the enemy side camp, while zagara took ours, and we eventually out leveled, and out sieged them that the guy finally came back, and we won in like 2 minutes. I don't remember what I said in the end, but it was something snarky, and he responded "you still suck." Gotta love people on the internet.
And for the record, I get that it's usually not great in aram, but the other talents aren't really anything special to lose, unless you're going decoy build.
If I was to make changes to Nova it would be the following: 1- change her Ults. Orbital strike has a lower cool down, shorter range, and is designed more to clear waves. More damage to mobs. 2 - triple tap is changed to have the same damage as your snipes. And more damage on slowed unites. That way there is better synergy. Also, It can't be blocked. 3 - snipe has another level 1 skill that progresses throughout the entire game and doesn't cap at 5 and isn't lost on a Miss but upon death.
1 and 2 look like nice changes but 3 is too good for a level 1 talent/skill, instead i think that should be a lvl 20 talent, that increases the cap by another 5 of the skill and you no longer loss stacks, or removes the cap but like you suggested stacks are lost on death now, nova can get double stacks with a talent already.
Leave Precision/Orbital Strike alone, it's fine. Triple Tap: " Also, It can't be blocked." -- no, that would be broken. The rest sounds quite interesting.
@@nathanael2572it wouldn't be broken. There are armor, shields, stasis, protection, invulnerability, burst healing, damage reduction, spell power reduction. And it can be interrupted. And it has 100 sec. cd. More than enough to be balanced.

Is Snipe bad? Maybe. Is it unreliable? Definitely. Will all three Snipe hits slip perfectly though your teammates in order to hit you? Absolutely.
So fun fact: precision strike is your mini rag wave. At 20, take the double p strike to keep lane pressure up

Either you are high Elo, in a bad Region, or queuing Unranked Draft (which is dead everywhere). QM is pretty fast, at least in NA and EU.
QM and ARAM contain most of players.
