Came here to say just that. You have been an amazing inspiration as a reseller. I know that coming from not having anything to being comfortable is hard.....helpful as incentive; but, difficult as a constant reminder of what you don't want to get back to. You and T.J. have both worked hard to get where you are now and that hard work was for moments like this where you have financial stability enough to take some time with the kiddos as needed. You may lose a few subscribers who don't know exactly what you're about; but, those of us here for the long haul that want to see your channel through ALL of life's stages will still be here as often as you are able to post. Take the time needed. You can re-grow a business that slows down; but, you'll never get the time back with growing kiddos. My notifications will be set to catch your videos WHENEVER they fit into your schedule.....take the time needed.

I can't stand youtube resellers who get overwhelmed like this then breakdown like everything is so hard ! Just stop doing youtube for a while it's literally so simple! I'm the sole provider of my family so my wife can stay home with 2 kids. One who needs alot of attention. I also resell and we do just fine. Her husband has a great job and she makes great money selling. The fact that she doesn't even consider stopping youtube for awhile is insane. Family first! She shouldn't give a crap what her subscribers think or care
I am 73 and it breaks my heart to watch this. Please, please, please stop and smell the roses. You are no longer that child who grew up wanting. You are secure and you have a wonderful partner and children. You will never recoup these years so don’t waste them angsting about eBay. I am also a cancer survivor. But when I did not know if i wasn’t going to be a survivor, I was at peace. My life was good, and what I loved was in good shape. So love your life and don’t fret the small stuff.
I’m 68 years old and my biggest regret is not spending more time with my kids. I worked 3 jobs at one point in my life as the primary breadwinner. I don’t remember parts of my children’s childhood actually and I will regret that forever. So. My advice is to let go of that fear you are feeling and move forward with faith in yourself and what you feel called to do. Take time for yourself. On your daily (yes daily) runs you can use that time to clear your mind and make decisions. So. Just advice. But know that you are already incredible and you will figure it out. ❤️

As a mom, and now grandmother, I feel that you need to hear this: “You are not ‘called’ to care for us, your viewers. Your calling is to be a wife and mother.” As much as I love seeing a new video from you, your family loves seeing you genuinely 100% there for them! And you can’t pour out to them from an empty cup. Stop, slow down for a bit sweet lady, and fill your cup! As much as we reciprocate your love of us, you don’t owe us a thing! Go take care of yourself and that precious family! As a senior... I will say later on you will not look back and say Oh I wish I had spent more time on ebay..BUT you don't want to look back and wish you had spent to time with your kids. They grow up in a flash.. a blink of an eye they will be grown. This is important time for them. Don't let it slip by.

Your kids will be gone before you know it and you don’t want to look back and regret letting fear of not enough money and eBay, etc get in way of what you know are your first priorities. Sometimes we have to trust that God will provide all we need when we are obedient to what we know is the right thing to do. I never comment but here I go . RUclips and eBay are not concerned about how you satisfy them, just that you do. Lost moments with your family are just that, lost. Creating stability, comfort, memories, happiness is something only you and your husband can do for all of you. As you said you have been so poor and so without that you’re afraid of falling or failing. Analyze what makes you think that way deeply. You will realize that there is no way you would let your family down. Sure, you love your work and I love what you bring to me (because of you my husband and I are seriously considering becoming resellers. We are 65 and 66 years old)! Please believe that there is nothing more important than the stability you give your children and there is nothing more beautiful than the love that will grow between you and your husband when you make your decision. Never mind us “followers”. I’m certain we will be here in the future when you make your Grand Premiere and return to us brand new! Please, go and sink deep into your wonderful family. ❤

As a RUclipsr, podcaster, entrepreneur who quit my corporate job and tried to still DO IT ALL, I can tell you that I felt the same way you did. I was able to power through for about 2 years, but after my 3rd baby, I couldn't juggle it all. I finally had to admit it to myself and let some things go. Add another child and a few years later and my life is so much better. I miss doing RUclips and all the other fun things, but being a present mom to my kids is my #1 priority. Don't feel bad for feeling this way. It's normal! It's a sign that it's ok to let back on some things. Your future self will thank you.

I've never commented before but I feel this is important.
Both of my kids are grown now but I was the stay at home parent, homeschooling, and trying to build a photography career at the same time and I get it.
My daughter and I have watched you from the beginning and are forever grateful for your knowledge and honesty. It has helped us become better eBay sellers.
Your health and family are way more important than anything else. I would scale back on both RUclips and eBay until you find the right balance. I think I can speak for everyone on here when I say, we'll all still be here for you and your inspirational light.

The things your children will remember about their Mum and Dad is time they had with them, conversations, not gifts at Christmas or holidays to Disneyland. A simple picnic in the park, playing in the backyard, or doing some painting with Mum, playing board games, or watching a movie together snuggled up on the couch, making pancakes on a Sunday morning. I too grew up very poor so I do understand your dilemma. Things have a way of working themselves out. I now am blessed with a grandson that I have gotten to see his first step and word. He lived with us and my daughter and her husband for two years. God is so good. I am so happy you recognize this right now. Do not ever beat yourself up over what others think, easier said then done. Mom on the other side here. I don't regret putting work aside one bit to give my child who needed extra time more of me! Whatever works for this time we will keep watching. A video every other week perhaps. Or even once a month. A person who wraps and ships your eBay. A smaller store. What Not shows to sell off inventory to other sellers? All ideas off the top of my head. Most importantly do what you need and get those runs in if it refuels you! You can't fill others including your own children if you are running on empty . Love your channel have learned so much from you.
Yes I see lots of Whatnot sellers do bulk deals for resellers. Could offload a ton of inventory that way!
I've always been so in awe of resellers who are also RUclipsrs. Reselling is SO time consuming. And you're also a mother of 3 YOUNG boys AND a wife. And a home owner. Please take a break for as long as you need to from RUclips and eBay. You have the it factor. Whatever you decide to talk about, people will listen because it's YOU. I'm glad you're prioritizing your own happiness and well being because without that, your family and your subscribers will also be missing out. I want to say thank you as well because during quarantine when my salon got closed down out of the blue, I binge watched your videos to learn how to resell. I've since, retired from styling hair and am reselling full time! I'm on track to make $106k this year. Net! So if you never made another video, it's all good! You've already done so much here! I was burned out last Fall with allll the things. I had to step back for a bit. Resale can overwhelm your life. Take time for you! We love you for who you are, not just for your eBay numbers! Hunny the struggle is real and life goes fast, this is NOT a failure in fact, it’s a triumph being able to say I need more time with my kids and myself and being able to put something on the side burner to devote yourself to the most important things is actually a triumph. At the end of life no one ever looks back and says I wish I would’ve made more money or, I wish I would’ve done better at my business. My mother was an overachiever, and although she loved her children with all her heart. Her drive to succeed took over. Now that she’s 80 years old, she always tells me she wish she would’ve took in the other path and spent more time with us. I’m new to your channel and find you delightful. I’m 52 years old and my children are all grown. I also was a stay at home. Mom and work part time is a cosmetologist. I did not have the drive to succeed in business. The kids grew up so fast and now my husband and I have all the time in the world. I do have one suggestion though maybe you could hire someone to help with maybe a smaller online store. well that’s my two cents. Oh girl! We do have your back! You were the one who got me into eBay and I am not doing RUclips and I FEEL this. I was trying to build my inventory and after about six months of doing so I was feeling so crazy. I am a mom of four and our youngest has special needs, she’s in a wheelchair full-time, and I am her full-time caregiver. When I say, I feel this on a deep level, I feel it on the deepest level! There is no greater gift you can give a child, then to stop what you were doing, or at least slow down and focus on them. You only have them little for a short period of time. I watched your video on your family history and it sounds like just the way you love your kids is 1000 times better than your experience as a kid. You are such a good mom! And you are setting such a wonderful example for them by slowing down. Our children are truly the most precious and wonderful gift we have. Money is important, but it should always be lower on the list. I love love, love your heart to give your kids a different upbringing than you had as far as money goes, but the money means nothing if we can’t be there for them. I know there is so much love in these comments for you. Whatever your future looks like, we are here for you and we love you and support your decisions. Sending you so much love!

This video couldn’t have come on a better day. After selling on eBay for 20 years I finally decided to close my store. I took it down today along with poshmark and mercari. I did it with a full-time job and sometimes a FT and a PT job. I am 61 yrs old and still working a fulltime job and I have had it. You are going the right thing for you and your family. Remember you have a successful eBay business and if God forbid you need to amp it up due to finances down the road, you will know how to do it. You have already proven it!! You got this!!

You are in th spot that many Mom's are in. When mine were little I felt like I was bad at everything. Prioritize yourself and it will nourish you to be a better Mom etc. You are not alone. Having "things" isn't what will make your kids happy. Having a happy Mom will be what they need.

Ashley, I also am a reseller. I could never of done it when my kids were little, I was to busy carpooling them to activities, helping with school etc…. Take the time off and you can always come back to this when your kids are grown. Ebay and You tube will always be around, but your kids are little for such a short time. Much love ❤️
I'm sure I can speak for so many people that follow you...if you stop posting as often, I will still follow you! In fact, I started following you years ago when I still had kids at home. I gathered lots of items to sell over the course of 3-4 months and planned on opening my store. But I realized that it just was too much for me personally to take on with kids at home.
So...we put all the things I gathered in our storage shed, and decided to tackle it when I felt like my kids didn't need me so much.
My youngest is about to leave on a mission, and my other three are off on their own. I'm finally at a point I can open the shed doors and sell what I have. It's been a few years, but I've kept following you and learning and just getting a kick out of your hubby and adventures!
When they tell you it goes so fast, you can't even imagine how fast it will really be. 18 years is really very short! It wasn't enough time to have my sweet children at home with me!
However you decide to handle it, I hope you find peace and joy and know you are doing the right thing by putting your kids first! No one else can be your kids mom, and the time you devote to them will make a tremendous impact for the rest of their lives.
(Why don't you set up a Shopify store and sell tshirts with TJ quotes on them and have it run on autopilot? We will all buy one! Lol!)
Oh sweet Ashley. Thank you for this honesty and vulnerability. This is one of the many things that sets you apart from others. You tell us straight. You have to do what’s best for your family and your mental health and I’m so proud of you for recognizing that that means needing to shift things around and try different things. Motherhood is a constant juggling act of trial and error to find what
Balance works best for you and your family. I know you will figure it out and we will be there to support you! I think cutting down your eBay store will definitely help. You could do a video of sourcing and show what you find and then liquidate that inventory to your followers as a reseller box and that will cut down photographing and listing time, and we still get to see what cool things you find. You could also then do a live stream where you could pick a winner or auction the reseller box off or something and that would make one less RUclips video where you have to collect content to be edited. And You could pair it as a live Q&A as well. Or Live chats Interviewing/chatting with other resellers could be fun too! Just some ideas of things to keep your channel and store going that maybe would require a less work on the backend.
Just like when you came back after taking time off after Crew was born, your store can and will come back fully if and when you are ready for it to! Sending love your way!
For starters, put your store on vacation mode for two weeks and change your handling time. You need a break! I’m 62 and when I was your age, I had a nervous breakdown, so I know what it’s like to be overwhelmed. You’re a gem, who’s been helpful to so many! You could work half as much and still be very successful. Take breaks more often, and then decide if you want to make bigger changes. Hope that helps. 😊

I just wanted to say I am an everything seller on eBay and clothes are probably the thing I like to list the least I do not watch RUclips videos of resellers buying clothes but for some reason, I love your channel and I love watching what brands you pick up and you have educated me a great deal where it makes me want to purchase clothes to resell and find a good brands and buy quality items anyway Please don’t leave. I do enjoy seeing your children help you with your yard sailing adventures and even when your husband comes along I love watching your channel but on the other side, I understand your family comes first but whatever content you put out I will continue to follow. 1000% your family comes first. My husband works a more then full time corporate job and a part time job with our church. I have felt strongly that I have to say no to a lot in order to be there for my four kids. Reselling has taken a back burner,so I can take care of myself in order to take care of my family. Whatever you decide to do putting your family first is never a wrong choice.
Let me say this to you , I am a single mom of 3 and I was a Barber working at 2 salons and having very little time for my children. I am now fulltime selling on posh US posh Can and EBay US and I have soooo much more time for kids , you were a big part of that. I learned so much from you . What about a series of you showing the boys how to run eBay and start their own RUclips? It would be a great way to spend time with them, help them earn their own money, and it would be like a tutorial for your viewers? And maybe just do 2 videos a month. I don't think those of us that love your videos will leave. Telling the viewers the new posting schedule is still showing consistency 🥰 I usually don't comment on RUclips but I just wanted you to know you have so much support!

You’re not admitting defeat. You’re making a choice. Family is an awesome choice. Choosing what makes you happy and healthy is another awesome choice. I found your channel because I was curious about how to create a side hustle but I stayed as a subscriber because I loved watching your dedication to one another as a family, the humor, the teamwork and the love. Choices are hard. As you were talking, I thought, “She should put Ebay on pause, close down shop and perhaps continue to help others by making videos about this new journey, helping your son, pivoting and conquering life.” I have no doubt that whatever path you choose, it will be the right one for you and for your family.
Ok first of all I am always so amazed at how resellers like you even have time for making RUclips videos. I have 0 kids and single as can be and I am still overwhelmed at times with my new reselling business so I totally understand why you are feeling this way. I've been watching your videos since earlier this year and I do think that you were one of the first resellers that I found here that inspired me to start my reselling business. I was previously teaching English and starting my own online English program (hence the RUclips channel) and got completely burnt out and lost my passion for it for a while. I felt so frustrated working so hard for so long on it and not seeing much progress and just always being worried about money. After 8 months of reselling, it has officially become my main source of income and I am finally not worried about how I will pay my bills next month. To top it off, I absolutely love what I do now! So, THANK YOU! Truly. Please do what is best for you, take care of yourself and your family. We will be here for you no matter which path you choose!
I can totally relate! What gives you joy? it sounds like creating the reading nook is a great idea. Make a video while you create it and post that. Riff can edit. Take eBay off your plate. If videos get too much, take a breather. We’re all subscribed so we’ll be here when you pop in.

I have three myself.. the third one threw me for a loop too.. sometimes it feels like I went from two to five .. do what you need to do.. mental health and family first.. but you got this mama!!! Until I saw your channel I had no idea that you could find such great stuff at the thrift or how accessible it is to buy a pallet. You brought the excitement of finding a nwt designer dress/ selling literally anything on eBay into my life and I am very grateful to you for that. You changed my life for the better!
I understand how tedious and time consuming it is to photograph and post inventory. I literally have thousands of dollars of things that I need to post sitting in my office right now. I saw someone posted about you possibly doing mystery boxes and I think that’s a good idea. No photographing individual items and you would only have to write the description once. Also, you have access to labels that aren’t really in other parts of the country and I for one would love to purchase those from you to sell. Just a thought☺️

Nothing is more important than your health and your family! My daughter is going to college next year. I'm so happy that we prioritized our time with her, because it went FAST. You won't get this time back, and you'll have no regrets down the road for investing in your family. Kids don't need more things to be happy, they need healthy, happy parents. I grew up with little money too, and I get the fear of being there again. That's not going to happen, you know how to hustle when you need to. That's also the beauty of reselling, you're in control of the workflow. Don't feel guilty for slowing down, listen to your gut. Also, everyone LOVES you, you're not going to lose people.

You could auction off bulk inventory on whatnot that we could buy from you!Selling secondary supplies would be great for me because I live in an area that doesn’t provide the types of things you find. Also, perhaps write a blog for us to purchase that we can refer back too. I have learned so much from you and also hairy tornado that I enjoy eBay selling! Just an idea... you find amazing inventory and maybe you can switch to doing inventory boxes for sale instead of giving stuff away. Then you'd still have the chance to film while shopping and promote the boxes on the video. I would definitely be a customer!! Do the best for you to be happy. You won't regret giving up time for your family. 💗

Giiiiiiiiirlah, it's HARD. I work from home with my 4 month old son, building my own business as well, plus my 4 year old daughter and I too am the primary caregiver. It's A LOT!!!! Take the least important thing off your plate, take care of you and your family girl. 🤍🤍🤍

Maybe you can find another parent that needs financial stability that you could share eBay profits with in return for them doing the listing and shipping?? Also, there is nothing wrong with trying new material for your content either. I'm 60 days into rebooting my whole life as an eBay reseller, and I can say with certainty, a video like this is much more valuable to me than another what to buy video. There's too few videos addressing the mental health aspects of being a reseller, and it's very encouraging to know that a very capable veteran can still feel the existential dread that I feel as rookie. Thank you for leaving this video up, your honesty and vulnerability is very much appreciated and it's very high value as a teaching tool and an inspiration. I think you need to take a break and see to your own health, you've done so much for resellers already, we're gonna be just fine, now it's your turn to help you!
