My dad sold his 1965 GTO to buy a self-propelled Owatona hay mower/conditioner for my grandfather's and his custom farm work side gig. It was the tricycle version. We used it into the mid 80s in the dairy, but I remember as a kid thinking it would be cool to have a lawn mower that worked the same way. I guess they were in production, but we didn't have the internet and never knew about them. Good info Case.👍
You guys do an outstanding job. On your videos of all the information and details of what you are describing you really do your homework. I have been around old time garden tractors for 50 years. Cub cadet. Cub lo boys. Ariens. John Deere and many others. I currently own a jd. X728 4wd. Tractor. Keep up the good work and thanks.
The Stihl units are great, made by Ferris Industries. My personal favorites are the Kubotas, diesel powered, and bullet proof! I prefer a traditional tractor, it's nice to have brakes when sliding!
I really like hustler mowers but after they got bought by stanly black and decker they kinda went down hill, I use a Hustler raptor limited from 2017 and its a beast at cutting.
I work for a Hustler dealer and we haven’t seen any changes in the product yet, but they are starting to gut the company. They have gotten rid of a bunch of the Hustler engineers. I’m worried The next round of models to come out will be rebadged Cub Cadets and that will be a real shame.

@@bioniclife Thanks Kevin. That’s an interesting story. A real selfless act on your dads part 👍

@@BA_X728 Thank you very much for the kind words. We really appreciate it 🙏
Great information, thanks. We do not see too many zero turn mowers over here but I think they are starting to get popular
I think you will soon Joseph. They are extremely popular here in the states. Every commercial landscaper uses them, and most modern homeowners as well
Cool video nice history lesson thanks for sharing
Thank you 🙏

@@alistairr.9656 Very nice machine 👍 I completely sympathize with your statement. Happened to a lot of great brands.
@@BuildALotAcres Its a real shame
Stihl is not a steal.
