  • Kerala Traditional Recipe - Pazhanurukku or Banana Jaggery Sweet
    Ingredients :
    Jaggery - 250g
    Grated coconut - 300g
    Cardamom - 8-9 nos
    Nenthra banana - 4 nos
    Ghee - 2 tbsp
    Method :
    First grate jaggery and make jaggery syrup and set it aside
    Then grate coconut and make a cup of coconut milk and set it aside
    Now grind cardamom in a grinding stone and make a powder out of it
    Then peel and cut nenthra banana in to thick round pieces
    Now heat water in a pan and add these banana pieces and boil it till it gets cooked
    Then add jaggery syrup and boil again till it becomes thick
    Then add coconut milk when it is thick and stir continuously
    Then add cardamom powder and ghee
    Mix well till its dry
