I can play guitar fairly well now, but i played bass first which made playing guitar a lot easier. I wish more guitarist would spend time learning the bass as it opens the world of the fretboard and helped me understand Keys and chords really well. Don't limit yourself Mike. You are a guitarist and a bassist. You just need to practice until you can play both to a standard you are happy with. Loved this video. Thanks for taking the time to make it. You get a big thumbs up from me.
Thanks so much Shane. I laugh when ever I see this video again. I am not a guitar player lol. If this video helps just one person, then it was worth it. Thanks for watching and and being positive with it!
Thanks Lou and your right. I don't teach my boys anything, they are learning on their own online which is actually better as they can read music :) Thanks for watching!
Back in the day when I needed them, I didn't use them lol. Now I use them as my reflexes are not as good to catch the bass or guitar as it falls lol. Thanks for watching Dan!
Nice Les Paul I used to have a red crystal one, but I sold it cause I couldn't play. I regret it cause it was beautiful. I hated the basic straps. Never knew about strap locks. Thank God I dropped my cheap guitar instead of my Les Paul Lol. That's cool your sons play. That's pretty cool and it is easy. Oh yea that was pretty good playing Joan Jett I Love Rock and Roll. Great vide as always Mike. I learned something today.
That's awesome, you had a red one. I dropped my basses many of times back in the day playing metal and jumping around with my long hair lol. Now that i'm mature I have strap locks lol. My band does I love Rock and Roll. Thanks for watching Bill! Join my bands FB page and you can watch our live streams. There is one tonight at 7:30pm eastern. Transistor Radio Group is the name of my band. Just play top 40 rock. Tonight it's in the guitar players kitchen for an acoustical jam.
@@MBGAdventures Yes it was beautiful with crystal's. Lol yea I can see why you dropped your basses. Lol thank God you got the strap locks now. Now you can grow your hair out and jump and run Lol just kidding Mike. That is cool you guys do rock and roll. Your very welcome always glad to watch. I will join the bands FB page. Sorry I missed it tonight it's been so busy at work and finally it slowed down. Sweet I'll have to check that out when I get home brother.
I'm requesting VIP passes to your first concert 🤙. Your really good. I used to play the guitar and want to bad at it either. Unfortunately I stopped playing and forgot how to, now I don't have the patience to sit and teach myself anymore lol. I could never play the bass tho, so you've got my respect lol. Nice video Mike, I'd like to see more 🤙
Ha Ha, my first concert was many years ago. I have been playing bass for 34 years now. I have played on many stages and venues. So much fun. When I first learned I could read music, I can't anymore lol. I just play by ear. If you are interested, Check out my band on YT and FB. Transistor Radio Group. We are doing a FB live stream tomorrow at 7:30pm Eastern Time. Thanks Jon!
No, they are solid. I put them on this strap for my kids as they fart around on this guitar. I have them on my two 5 string basses and they are solid. Never dropped my bass again.
Man I'm so scared to take a screwdriver to my guitar AT ALL... i just got it... but I'm also scared of dropping it because of the straps being flimsy... 😞
Thanks for your confidence, it's inspiring... whenever I take a screwdriver anywhere near my guitar I almost get sick:( I'm so scared of scratching her...
I had no idea about that. I know a few pro players that actually prefer the epiphone over the gibson. I could not justify paying thousands more for a Gibson. Thanks for watching!

Never underestimate your talents, Mike! Anything you can pass on to your kids is a blessing to them. Good, informative video, Brother!

Good video Mike . I like the strap locks . I went from 6 string to playing bass about 10 years ago .
Back in the day when I needed them, I didn't use them lol. Now I use them as my reflexes are not as good to catch the bass or guitar as it falls lol. Thanks for watching Dan!
That was cool - enjoy seeing the mix of different things beyond the landscaping (which is still very enjoyable also). Learned something new also.
Awesome! Thanks and i'm glad you learned something new today!

Thank you!
I love rock N Roll by Joan Jett and the black hearts 🤘🏼
Rock N' Roll!!
Great Job Mike From Busch Green. I can hold a guitar strum noise
Strumming noise is awesome man as long as you are having fun! Thanks Diego!
Do the strap locks make any rattling noises once installed?

Nice guitar
It's smooth!

The guitars look nice Mike. I know nothing about guitars.
While making this video I thought about doing one take just for you lol. Thanks for watching Shawn!

@@MBGAdventures i heard that Mike, I like my epiphone not the bottom scale one but not very tippy top either
Well yeah, Les Paul made his signature model with epiphone before Gibson bought the brand.
I think your mistaking a guitar for a bass there , you'd be called a musician
100%
100%
At what point does the reason everyone came to this video begin? No one cares about any of the rest of that crap.
Ha Ha, I know right.
