A very nice setup. I am a fan of recumbent trikes. Two folding models in large draw string bags could be stored on top of the bed and maybe strapped down. Fantastic floor and those Rubbermaid Rough Totes are the best.

Wand: You can put a Fan-Tastic fan in the roof under the solar panels if you mount the solar panels on a ladder rack. Also having it under the solar panel minimizes the possibility of the fan leaking in the rain. And you can keep the fan going to move humidity out of the van even when it's raining.

They are all copies. You can buy one for $200 online. I had one but found it was overrated and too much bother to clean. Looks nice but low functionality. Buy the $60 zero gravity lounge chair from Costco instead and save your back!

1:55 - See that left side of overhead cabinet? It is sticking out and overlapping the bottom. Is there a reason you made the side bigger than it had to be? Why the overlap? The reason for asking, is that in my factory made Class C older RV, and in most RVs, this overlap is in all the overhead cabinets. I wondered if it was for structural strength. I like a trim finish, so chopped off all the wood sticking out and it looks trimmer with a lower profile. But now, seeing yours, I wonder if that will make a difference to cabinet strength? Beautiful yellow van, love the color! The second side door is very useful for not only access but cooking fumes. Very nicely done, great job!
Okay, this may sound silly, but thank you for a big piece of information: That driver's side slider door option. I have NEVER seen that in any other van build videos. I very much like that because, just for my own idiosyncrasies, that's how I would like to set my van (when I get it) up with the entrance to the living space from that side. I'm assuming that is still a commonly available current option on the Promasters?
Yes, Michael RS You can find them but you might have to do a nationwide search or custom order from a local dealer. Another nice factory install is the composite cargo floor as a subfloor.
An AC in a 12V system is nearly impossible (i.e. very impractical). For campers that spend time in campgrounds with a plug, or in a driveway with extension cord, we put in a shore power plug and an AC. We put a small composting toilet in many of our vans. Usually hidden away in a cube or built into a bench. In a van this size it is difficult/impractical to have a separate space for a bathroom.
Love the silent foot pump sink, but how do you get water to flow if you are using the faucet outside? Also, the rear fan...I believe that fan was meant to be top mounted...won't it leak in the rain now?
We love the foot pump too and usually are traveling together so the one on the inside gets the water flowing for the outdoor shower .. and they squeeze out the shampoo for you too :) And rear fan is made to side mount and doesn't leak

Think about putting a Fantastic Fan in the back door to work as a sort of awning window and get huge ventilation instead of the small fan . Nice van .

Thanks for the kind words. I left the slight reveal along the edge of the cabinets for aesthetics. Nothing structural about it.
