Soma Ram is a 10 year old boy from small Village in Rajasthan. I met him while I was on my way to market he wanted to clean my shoes though my shoe is already clean. But I thought why not give him a chance and while he was cleaning my shoe I came to know that he even go to school. But due to current pandemic it’s closed. So he clean and polish the shoe for little as 20 rupees and what touched me most is that he save that money for his mother. I’m deeply touched by his way of thinking and I decided to offer him 2000 rupees instead of 20 rupees for cleaning my shoe.

After the stories she told me about having to work since she was a little girl because her mother needed someone to help, work in the developed country I live in doesn't seem such a chore and I think my mum even felt she couldn't do it to us as we were never even given chores as kids but we learned watching her. Bless the parents that do things to give their children happy lives.

This broke my heart mainly because I have 2 kids my self a boy 7 and a girl 9 and even do they are amazing kids they are so spoiled with toys and crap that they don’t even need. I’m in tears. May Jesus Christ fill this boy with peace and love. And may this gentleman be blessed for doing such a nice act of kindness.
Don't worry children in normal living conditions are like that. Show your kids this video it's a good learning lesson even for little kids to know the value of just a pair of shows and small toys.

Breaks my heart....i'm considered poor in my country, struggle with bills every months, but this is a whole other level....when your children do not get to be children but have to make an earning fromn early years on...look at his hands :( 40 year old brick layer in west doesn't have such dry skin...
I struggle each month with bills, and have no savings....But seings some of these indian countryside videos...i wish i was rich and just able to travel around the world and help directly...my country just spent dozens of millions on some random foreign aid but i have 0% trust that it ends up helping people like in this video.
So thank you for showing direct help, that joy and thankfulness is pure. and even if he buys himself some rare food on the market, i'm sure he will bring home the larger ammount of money and the family will have some weeks or even omnths of no worries on how to feed the family....
