I remember the excited anticipation of this historical Championship bout featuring two of the classiest, beloved, and ultra-super talented boxers in history. Oddly, it was difficult to choose who to root for because most folks loved them both so much. I decided to root for George Foreman because his story will never be repeated in a million years. The love that beamed from this man came right through your television set. If it wasn't for Muhammud Ali than George Foreman would be the Greatest of All-Time. I still love them both. True American Heroes in every respect. God Bless them forever!!!
And dont forget , that even the great Ali didnt wanna go face to face with George Foreman . He took the tactical way out , clinching and ducking ,and avoiding Foreman . And tiring him out this way. Ali was a master tactician ,and he used his brain to beat Foreman . And even in the fight against Ali it was Foreman fighting forward (as he always does) and Ali fighting backwards . Untill Foreman ran out of gas . But even Ali knew would if he would go face to face with George from the start , then George would have put him to sleep 100% . I see Holyfield tagging with a couple of well placed body hooks and quick shots to the face but the big man just walks right through them. He doesn’t seem the least bit disturbed by a lot of them. Dude is a great for a reason. Also loving Holyfield’s movement. Nice footwork and speed for a heavyweight :) also moves fluidly (even now)
