To all those arguing: What about minorities in India? Remember this fact:
In BNG Hindu population collapsed from 23% in 1951 to 8% in 2021, while in India Muslim population increased from 10% to 15% during the same period.
So yes condition of minorities in India is not perfect, but better than most of its neighbours. All data is according to Census of respective countries.

I think this is one of the best assessments on this particular issue and this I say being a resident of a state in India's Northeast. This part of India is one of the most affected because of illegal migration and this unrest in Bangladesh increases the vulnerability of this region to such mass migrations. Bangladesh never rejected Islam, it only introduced linguistic nationalism in its struggle against Pakistan in 1971 and this is a problem that we must understand. They wanted to be an antithesis of what India wanted to be in 1947 - our paths were very different then and although Bangladesh and India found a common enemy in Pakistan in 1971, Bangladesh could never be naturally inclined to India. I am in no place to judge which idea of nationalism at the time was better but only that we wanted different paths for ourselves. Like Pakistan is our antithesis, Bangladesh is so too with only the addition of language to it. Yes, co-existence must be the norm but caution should be at the core of this norm at least till the time our ideas of national identity remain as they are.

Even as late as in 1991, Hindus from Kashmir in Hindu majority India had to flee. And till date they couldn't go back to their homes and properties. Imagine, that's in a Hindu majority country. And we just had 10 years of so called pro-Hindu (?) BJP/Modi Government with full parliament majority ! It proves, even India is not serious and incapable of giving justices to her own Hindu citizens. Indian Supreme Court, Indian Government, Indian Institutions, Indian Civil societies all are powerless to return properties, prosecute all those murderers, all those rapists. It's laughable. With this kind of mindset, talking about the plights of Hindus in Bangladesh is similarly laughable❗️🤣🤣

While Muslims hit the streets even for a minor inconvenience, even if it's 1000 miles away from them. Like Sai Deepak said "Muslims are grateful for those who fight for Muslims, while Hindus are ungrateful for those who fight for Hindus". This has to change. Hindus have to unite. We've to show force. India is the home of the Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, Sikhs and many more. It will continue to remain so. Bangladesh and Pakistan were created from India for Mulims with the consent of Hindus. Call it "Hinduisation" or "Hindutva", but we are comfortable in our land with our ethos.
Our concern with the Islamisation of our neighbors is that, despite being given a home created from our land, they still do not seem to want to live side by side in peace.
