I actually think they did a good job on the editing in the recorded one. Don’t get me wrong her voice is absolutely gorgeous as is, that’s not being contested. However the changes they made when mixing the vocals really makes it sound supernatural and otherworldly in a way that I feel matches the tone of the lyrics super well! Artistically I think was a great choice! ❤️

I'm a guy that listens primarily to extremely heavy music (Spite, Slaughter to Prevail etc) but her voice is incredibly well controlled. It's actually amazing how well she can monitor her tones so well in real time. Getting lots of Tracy Chapman vibes.
